Nice one, thanks! "Amore" is one of my favorite songs of all time. Very technical power metal with bright lyrics. And this performance was actually its world live premiere. It's a great song and it deserves better in my opinion, since it's not been played since October 2017 and it's sometimes eclipsed by "Akatsuki" (pun not intended). The guitar work is exceptional, drums are impressive and then, there is BOH... That bass solo is everything! Am I missing something? Let's see... the Queen delivering (again) a flawless performance perhaps? To me, this is perfection. Until next time!

I think I can say this is my favourite Su solo - it often gets overlooked as 'Akatsuki' came first so a lot of people seem to think of that first, but for me (and yes it is all about personal preferences) Su singing 'Amore' takes what she did with 'Akatsuki' and improves on it. Having said that, all her solos are great and there really isn't anything between them but the finest lines of perfection. Maybe BOH's bass solo tips it, I don't know.

Hmm...Amore... It goes unnoticed always as it has never been showcased for some reason, but once I delved more and more into their catalogue it has become one of my favorite Babymetal songs. It's probably in the top5 for me. The whole idea of the song it's a bit silly, akin to the whole Babymetal thing. In Japanese the song is called Amore -Aoboshi- (Amore -Blue Star-), an obvious echo to Akatsuki (Red Moon). In this silly world of Babymetal lore we live in this metal blue world that spins every 24 hours, with the red moon and the god of metal, the Fox God. Once the metal reigned supreme, but now idol and pop music displaced metal and the metalheads are being bullied. Then Babymetal is summoned by the Fox God, with Su as the new messiah in the body of the heir of an ancient metal warrior (the statue of Babymetal Death) and two angels to support her. They start to help the metalheads that are being bullied (Ijime, Dame, Zettai music video) and the metalheads start the Metal Resistance; and lead by Babymetal, together we become The One. In this context, Amore is not a song about romantic love as it might seem looking at the title from the west. Su is the metal Messiah, if you check the lyrics she is in orbit flapping her wings watching the blue star and shouting love to the world with her metal voice. Love in the sense of unity and kindness among the humans and metalheads, akin to christian meaning of love (I guess the use of _amore_ instead of love or 愛 [ai] helps to emphasize that sense of religious dimension of amore). For example, Amore is the only song she performed in the roof floor during the Tokyo Dome concert (that you should watch soon!), to give that sense of she up there flapping wings, we down here receiving the metal love. I love that these girls are practically raised to sing, dance and act, you can see all 3 skills come into play in Su’s solos. At 16, they were already veterans of the craft.
If anyone states Su is NOT the Queen, show em this one...What girl at this age can even THINK of goin out and smack thousands of faces? Wembley concert is worth buying. My fav dvd by far. The stage is not that bombastic, but the concert is just unearthly (as all other BM concerts ...)

To be honest, I like the BOH's bass solo and the breakdown part of this Wembley Live. But I don't like the lyrics of this song itself much, because it has a part that seems to be a parody of Japanese TV station's "24 hours TV, Love will save the earth". The truth is that I hate the hypocrisy of that TV station, and it has nothing to do with Su-'s solo song, humm..
