I have one. It was extremely loud when you turn the motor off until the motor comes to a complete stop. I took the motor apart and there was a big round flat part broken off of the cooling fins. I removed the broken part and put it back together. Now it is smooth and quite, just like new. I am sure it was engineered in there for a reason but we leave the machine on when it is not in use and it never remains under a maximum load for any long period of time.
