- This gameplay tutorial for Mechwarrior Online shows you how to utilize your Mech to it's best extent. I'll give you a rundown of the build and what it is made for and show you the actual combat role in two games on the battlefield.
Mechwarrior Online is a competitive first person shooter where you build and pilot massive Mechs and prove yourself on the battlefield. The game is based on the Battletech franchise, which originally was a science fiction tabletop game in the 80s. Big part of the game is configuring your loadout and find the best match of missile, ballistic and energy weapons for your playstyle. The weapon variety ranges from devastating autocannons over particle projectors to deadly arrays of laser beams. On the battlefield your team of 12 Mechwarriors fight the enemies on rather small arena-type maps. Teamwork is crucial here because a single Mech does not survive long if it steps in front a full firing line. Communication and teamwork is key on your journey to glory and victory.

I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

Game 1 was incredible, I jumped off my sofa during the final fight. Then game 2's absolutely incredible stomp. Sometimes stomps are boring but there was so much action and teamwork that it was sooooo good. I love MWO so much sometimes, and I always love Baradul MWO videos.

Been running the knockout for weeks now with 2 SB gauss and 4 ERLL. +1 HSL for LL is so nice. Forced to run XL engine but you shouldn't be in the front anyways in a mauler. Regularly breaking 1k dmg.

Not intentionally, but I stopped playing a little after your videos stopped. So happy you're back. You're still the least tiltable player of any game I watch. My kids even asked what happened to you. 😂
Shotgun Gauss is my favorite weapon of the patch. The rate of fire and the instant charge is just too good.
Honestly, it's just do satisfying to shoot. And the unlinked HSL is just *chef's kiss*
I have been working with mixed Light and SB Gauss builds, and the SB charges faster than the Light does.
In the first gaem, with 2 disconnects and 2 dead, that really should have been a loss on their initial push. Great job everyone for pulling that off.
If you like the Knockout's quirks, try the Vindicator-1X. SB + a few ERMLs, with the quirk tweaks it really bounces and blasts. (And it can even do triple light AC/5's, too.)

Good ol' epikt in that first game. Wasn't it epikt that used to run everything in all purple? I'm talking like 7-8 years ago. Back in the MechSpecs days, I swear I remember him as Royal Purple Guy.

Mostly purple+white or purple+yellow. This Night-Gyr is white for the most part, with the feather pattern in purple.

I really want to like the Mauler but I feel like the side torsos pop to easily... I find myself in the same camp as you in the first game - both side torsos open early and then have to be super careful.
I run similar on a Warhammer. It's a solid build off your positioning is good.

Can do this on the victor as well, the variant that usually runs 3 ac10s or the uac10/5s. U get jjs on that one too

Would putting CASE in one of the arms help mitigate damage from a guass rifle explostion for these SB Rifles?

First game was awesome. Don't overheat kill yourself when its such low numbers is the lesson here. And that 1 sniper guy would have lost if he stayed on the high ground so coming down was his only play. Maybe should have come down sooner since the last 3 were so split at the end of the brawl.

Any chance for a "quick n dirty" video for the available hero mech choices through the lucky charm event? Not like a gameplay video for every mech, but a quick showcase of the mech inside the mechlab with a possible setup and overall personal rating?
I'm kinda stuck on a choice there. Many of the hero mechs seem to have quite the odd weapon type layouts.
I ended up getting the Faffy Juggernaut fir mine. It was between that and the Moonwalker. I have most of the other hero mechs already

SB gauss is my fave of the new weapons! I just know they'll nerf it though. I run a similar build but without the quirks on my Corsair 7A, but with added ams. It's a little slower, but the support it provides makes up for it
I wanna see a 1v1 with Baradul and TTB. 4 matches. 1 in each weight class and if a tie breaker is needed then 1 free pick match

@@ctakitimu he changes the names on his accounts pretty regularly. Glizzy is what he's been running with lately.
@@Artificer1911 I actually had to look it up because I didn't know either. Hatchetman aren't a commonly used mech that you can see its abbreviated designation and know what is off the bat.
I also didn't know TheB33F was going by that name, I just looked at his previous videos and saw a pattern in how he named things. And based my assumptions off of that.

Edit Update: Man this is fun in the Sleipnir, the most fun build I've tried in it.

Not trying to be nitpicky or anything, but with CASE no longer weighing anything why not use your last crit slot to slap one on an arm? I'll grant you were losing torsos before arms in the two games shown in the video, but why not slap one on if only for the "eh, why not" factor?

So when watching teammates did they not have cool shots consumables? And man I hope it's just laggy when watching their screens and not an accurate depiction bc it looked like that guy was controlling his mech with a potato 😂
