Samery Moras Taekwondo I started tkd and now as well train in Muay Thai and Mma but my root is always tkd I still use it in my fighting tool! This video made miss tkd training again
@Samery Moras Taekwondo.... It's pretty much up to her. Muay Thai gets boring in the long run. She has such a cute face though. Don't want to mess up her face. I think she's a Taekwondo person.
Hello. Best of luck on your BB test. I am testing for my Black Belt in Taekwondo in early November. I'm 58 and have never been in better shape and have reached flexibility that I didn't have in my 20s.
I wish I had your guys' mental attitude. I'm almost 48, and I do all right but I've never been real athletic or really into working out a lot. I just do the minimum. I'm supposed to be testing for my black belt but I just have a hard time trying to push myself hard enough. I Always find an excuse like working overtime or whatever.
Aaww she just reminding me my old friend Greg when we used to do Taekwondo together. We both started as white belts together. We both got our black belts together. Time really does take people apart. It's good though you two reunited
At karate camp a few summers ago, I met a gray-headed man who had old, very strange-looking leather sparring gear. I asked him what his background was, and he said he was on the USA karate team as a youth and that he hadn't fought in 32 years. He wiped the mat with every opponent. The matches never took more than a couple of seconds.
I think the more skills you have in different disciplines the better. It's not good to stay with the same routine all the time because you will never grow as a Martial Artist or fighter. If she's doing Muay Thai which is pretty intense, then that can only benefit her. There is a lot of kicking in Muay Thai as well. If she ever has to encounter a real fight situation she can combine different techniques as long as they work.
@19brownboy81 I think it's important to keep doing the poomsae and weapons but also combine it with some realistic situations. It's good to compete but it's also important to be able to defend yourself when necessary.
Awesome, looks like a few days in and she’d pick up where she left off! Awesome learning different disciplines, I’d say train both, together! You gals have great chemistry
Gary Collins I’m doing excellent u still been training hard core? I haven’t been youtube in a while I’m going to check your channel out right about now
@@minlee5376 Hi again. I'm preparing for my Black Belt test in November. Been training and focusing mainly on that. Hoping I'll pass so I can focus on sparring and Bo Staff. What have you been up to, Minkyu?
I have a question please answer. What your and Mauy’s black belt(Dan) level? By the way I am just 15 yrs old from India and I will be giving Dan 1’s test in few days.
I always find it funny when people call it a "bo staff." Bo is a Japanese word that means staff. You're saying "staff staff." Lol plus you're using a Japanese word in a Korean system. I wonder why that is? Lol
@@kobiesboxing4956 sort of, but not exactly. Bo means staff, but staff means staff. We are translating to English and staff is an English world. If we reversed it, it would be staff, bo.
I'm always nervous at tournaments. Everytime I go to compete, I always feel sick. But if you're nervous, this is exactly what you should be doing: getting out of your comfort zone. To deal with it, you just have to suck it up and just do it, no matter how horrible you feel. The fear is only temporary!
If Natalie, or you for that matter, wants to be a player, then do TKD. If she wants to be a fighter or train self-defense, then train enough Muay Thai so she can blend it with her TKD. MT emphasizes power over speed and has a more whole body as a weapon and a target system.. While she is at it, incorporate BJJ or submission grappling to be a more complete martial artist.
There a a few effective techniques in tkd turning back kick maybe a spinning hook but it's high risk high reward part from that tkd is pretty Ineffective compared to maui Thai and boxing plus standing in a tkd stance is begging for leg kicks
Isn't there a story about an individual who has mastered all of the skills to become a Samurai Warrior. Then moves up to a mountain to live alone. Once they have forgotten everything they knew as Samurai Warrior. They come down the mountain and relearn what they have forgotten and become a true master. Any truth to that or is that to deep?
I love this art so much, but I have one set back and that is I don't have good flexibility at all. I think that Tae Kwon Do is a very awesome and explosive art.
Me too, I'm almost 48 and I've never been very athletic, so my flexibility suffers. My sidekicks are the worst, but at least I practice them. I just have to keep motivated to work out and practice.
How does Tae Kwon Do, and Karate schools even exist? For in 2019 it's all about mix martial arts, Muay Thai, college wrestling, boxing, and Jiu Jitsu. I mean through MMA competition, and etc. Karate & Tae Kwon Do has been proven to not be as effective as once thought. And you'd be a fool depending on such a martial arts as a means of self-defense.
That's a very narrow perspective. Many people do martial arts for reasons other than self defense since the chance of random assault is very low I most places if you are careful. I did ITF tkd for 15 yrs and left because it was ineffective on the street. Subsequently I did wrestling, bjj and kickboxing for another 15 yrs but I only ever used it outside the dojo once and that was a match fight which an older me would have avoided.
Amen. Someone finally speak truth. I train TKD for 12 years and realize it's very ineffective in the streets. Now of days, I train BJJ and Muay Thai. Why spent years on a martial art that isn't effective ?
What do we think... should she keep practicing TKD instead of Muay Thai?! 😊😂

Of course it's up to Natalie and whatever makes her fulfilled and happy, but I think there is much more fun with Taekwondo. 😊👊

Nnamdi Uyalor,Jr I’m actully a second degree black belt 🥋 I forgot how to do all the forms now

She did awesome for 7 years without TKD

Exactly. Taekwon-Do doesn't use Weapons, other than Hand and foot.
Jimmy Scarfo D'Cortino I learned that from watching a video of Jesse Enkamp.

Is it good to talk to your opponent before the fight everytime you're in a fight?
Depends. But i dont since it kinda takes away the hunger to win when u kinda know the person
I’m a 5th degree black belt and 18 years of training
Its weird seeing those type of bo staffs cuz im used to the bamboo ones
Ate samy, when at a competition, were you nervous at some point? If yes, how do you deal with it.

Is kickboxing good for self defence
yep
Polkieee ._. Thank you
i love you aim happy to see your simplity
What it that ,with the staff? I remember all real Marshall artist used heavy wooden staff or iron staff
You should fight her

Well, one is for sure, you are both cute ♥️
Goog🥋🥋🥋
TKD has no weapons. What is that bo staff thingi
1:16 maul's saber
so video was about her doign tkd, yet video was simply about some random tricking with a bow and that was it. talk about clickbait
She probably said she doesn’t like Muay Thai as much because she actually gets hit lol
Just asking why wear the belt without the rest of the dobok
Two very sweet and great personality! What do you think you can do to increase viewership? Maybe bring in a young buff guy ? For diversity...
