Loved those Nortons and that Triumph! You seem to have one heck of a vintage bike night thing going on. Congrats on that!
Seth, so glad you got your baby back! She's a keeper!
He's pumped about it!
Thanks for showing all the bikes that turned up outside your shop. The BMW R50 reminded me of my friend who had a R100 Rs, what a bike.
That R50 was a German import. 2 owner in the same family. Was soooo clean
love the passion and creativity of the biker folks..something to believe in during these crazy times..
🙏🙏
Like the relaxed atmosphere of BIKE NIGHT . I ever get my 74 CB360 out, I'll check with on hunting some parts. Enjoyed the video BJ and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
🤘🤘
I too am going to DGR 2024 in Perth Western Australia, a great cause, Tally Ho Chaps...
Ride dapper good sir!
Cool bunch of bikes, owned a CB 450 back in the day so very interested 🥸
Were excited about it!
Saw that V-Strom in the background 👀 Just bought one a few months ago, man I LOVE those bikes. I had been riding a ZRX1200 for 18 years and I still have it but it maybe going in to storage.
I love that bike. Definitely check out this video on it th-cam.com/video/OvnIGw7pYkI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for update at the shop. That is a beautiful Yamaha! 😎🙏
Thanks for hosting bike nite. Thanks for the leadership in DGR. Hopefully I can attend next year.
🙏🙏
So cool showing all the bikes & bikers coming to your shop! San Antonia is a long ways! You can be very proud of all your successes & hard work! And see? It paid off!
Thank ya 🙏
Very cool stuff, BJ! Keep up all this great work and have a wonderfully rewarding ride Sunday on the Gentleman's Ride!
You will find the CB450 engine an interesting item to work on, valve clearances are set at a minuscule .0012" but a .0015" or .002" feeler gauge will work just fine. They are real touchy to set but will not clatter if set properly. Set your cam chain tension first. Will look forward to a video on getting it to run! Thanks man!
Im typing this at just before 7am Friday and am already itching to get to the shop to play with that bike
@@BrickHouseBuilds the 450/500 Honda twins use a CV carb with a vacuum piston type slide not unlike later Keihin carbs on newer model Hondas. No rubber diaphragm to deal with! Fairly simple carb to deal with.
Look at the those heads on that Yamaha (look like DG?), very nice. Your 450 looks like a nice original bike, looking forward to you getting this one going.
I think DG is right
Gunna have to make a trip up from Memphis whenever the bike is done, and also you have another get together
Heck yeah!
Seth's 1st bike looks like my hotrod CB350. It is a blast and you better hang on 1st to 2nd shift! I recently bought my 1st HD, a bike I have been familiar with for a few years and even worked on. 2007 customized Dyna with a 120R engine. It made 135HP and 139ft. lbs. TQ at the wheel when the ThunderMax ECU was tuned. Hanging on to that one is a challenge!
👍
Wish I´d be nearby would defo go
Hello there from Chicago
🤘🤘
Great video. Cool to get some props from the bearded mechanic
Was a good time!
Always a good time at bike night!
Hell yeah!
Great stuff 😁👍👍
Awesome as always...
🤘🤘
Always enjoy your videos 😎
🤘🤘
Question? I think iI had a 1969 Honda 400 with high exhaust? Did such a bike exhist?😎
They made a cl450 which is likely what you are thinking of
Based on your experience with vintage Honda bikes, would you recommend daily riding one?
Sure, if you are able to work on stuff you can keep am old one on the road with consistent tinkering and adjustments
@@BrickHouseBuilds I am mechanically inclined and can do most tasks. Would you consider making a video in the future about items that require constant tinkering and adjustment on vintage bikes, excluding the basics, i.e. oil change, chain lube?
Well id say instead of waiting for me to make a video specific to the subject before you make a decision here is a quick list:
Adjust valves, adjust points, clean points, fuel filters, grease swingarm pivot/replace bushings if necessary, clean electrical contacts, change fork oil on occasion, replace bulbs when they fail, etc. Nothing impossible its just a bit more attention.
any trick to overhaul a v65 magna carbs ?
I havent done a set of those ones so I wouldn't know what to tell you there
Vão ultrapassar o limite de velocidade.... A propósito qual o limite nesta vias ?
We have speed limits in excess of 70mph
No two strokes gents.😕👍
I just never really got into 2 strokes
I saw one custom Yamaha 2t ..04:55. Sick looking ride ❤ #twostroke
Yes I know it's a workshop but I had to laugh because from the footage it appears that all of those bikes are either in bits or non-runners. I know your CB750 is your daily but do you actually have any other bikes you can just hop on and take a ride without checking the validity of your life insurance first. I'm sure you do. Whatever happened to the Benelli?
I have many bikes I can jump on. I focused on the projects though because those are the ones always changing that people are asking for details on. The Benelli is still waiting as has been the story from day 1.
@@BrickHouseBuilds Thanks for the reply
