I have said repeatedly all season that Ange is too stubborn with his team system and tactics, and it is unrealistic to expect anything next season other than what we have seen since the Chelsea game this last season.
I would take Poch. back in a heartbeat. He built us up from nowhere, and new when the team needed renewal.
It is totally unfair to say that he had lost the plot when he was sacked. He new what was required but the board wouldn't back him at the time due to the cost of the new stadium. He was the manager and stood up for what our team was calling out for. He should be applauded not berated, for what he saw was in the best interests of the team.
He was badly treated and deserves another go, if he would in fact accept it, if offered.
He is also a great coach and with the current young talent that we have, and the new scouting set-up he never had, I could really see us going places.
Ange despite all his rhetoric cannot manage one game a week.
On the other hand Poch. with the talent that we now have, plus a couple of astute signings that we are going to get anyway, will be able to manage multiple games in a week, as he has demonstrated in the past.
With Poch. I could feel confident, with Ange even with his good start, I have never felt comfortable, because of his stubbornness, and the huge gaps his tactics leave all over the place. He is a squeaky-bum manager.
We should be a club getting the manager Poch. to train us; not a club to give someone Ange their first crack at the big-time, wasting even more time of our player's career's. COYS.

Honestly speaking I didn't know how good Van de Ven when he was signed. I was kinda annoyed that we didn't get Tapsoba and went for the "cheaper option" but it turned out to be great for us. I didn't know Vicario either but he has been great just needs to improve set piece defending. Whereas when we signed Ndombele people acted like we finally got Dembele replacement but it wasn't the case. When Gil was signed the hype was such that we got the next Messi. So only thing I can do now is trust our current recruitment because after all players like Vicario,Sarr,Udogie,Van de Ven were players majority of the fanbase wasn't much hyped about
Cherki is unreal, would be an incredible signing if he's available. One of those special talents that's worth the risk
Problem with him is his behavior.. he’s a little like Ben Arfa. French people do like him for his talent but have reservations on his behaviors and weither he’s good or not for the team

Fulham's Andreas Pereira is a homegrown player. I think we want more creative midfielder. At 28 he is in his prime.
Going bald was the best decision I made when I was losing my hair. A) I no longer have to style anything b) washing is so much easier b) my confidence, altho diff, thanked me and c) the constant anxiety of if people can see me balding going away. Bald and proud 👨🏼🦲💪🏼

I think we have two attacking issues missing… obviously a CF, but I think if we choose a type of wide player that enhances what we don’t have, then it narrows down the type of CF would suit the system better. I think trigger the Dani Olmo release clause and see if we can agree a deal and then compliment him with a CF. Arguably Richy (when fit) could work, but I guess a home grown quota option in Toney or Solanke would tick another important box. That just leaves a smaller budget percentage for an important number 6 upgrade. Unless we have a positive return from some outgoings.
If Ange signs off on Werner, i’ll begin to doubt him.

Why? For £15m he’s a brilliant squad player. Yes he’s not going to be effective against the likes of Liverpool but we play them twice a year. He will be effective against the likes of Brighton, and that’s exactly what a squad player is there for. We have Europe, he’s got enough quality to cover in Europe. £15M is a steal, and he can only improve in a system that fits.

The issue isnt with the forwards. Having werner and richy on the bench will never hurt. Bring in a serious competitor for striker and focus on some creativty in midfield. Backups for full backs and a speedy centeal defender

The thing with the striker issue is that the PL is a different beast to all the other leagues and that's why a data based approach is by no means foolproof. Toney and Solanke, whatever you think of them, are not only Premiership proven, but also homegrown. That said, I don't want either of them 😂😂
