I lived just outside of Minneapolis for a year in 2000 and my mindset about hip hop was completely changed. The stuff that was coming out at that time really shaped the future for me and music.
I met slug in Melbourne Australia 2008, I will never forget the feeling. A real guy, no bs... There was banter, and you could tell he loves what he does and that it isn't about the money. So genuine.
God loves ugly! Atmosphere have been a solid duo for decades now. Their music, to me, is timeless and feels as if Slug is speaking directly to his fans.
