I'm glad someone else still knows what subwoofers are along with mids and highs. I can't tell you how many comments I see saying must listen using this or that headphones wtf.
This is fantastic. It feels like a different film with sound fx omitted. Then the background fx comes to life. It is surreal Also the quality is beautiful.
Amazing work joe!, the dvd version of "swat" (the Samuel L Jackson one) has a extra that basically was this in a shooting scene, and every audiotrack was a granade, rifle, explosion, etc!
To me this is like Multitracking in music. It's cool to hear this. Can anyone recommend what this type of presentation of audio is called or anything else like this to look up/listen to?
Some of Pixar's early DVD releases had a separate 5.1 sound effects only track, the old DVD releases of Toy Story 1 and 2, Monsters Inc, and a Bug's Life (specifically the collector's edition with The shiny holo foil case) have this. Someone did upload the sound effects only track for Toy Story to the internet of the archive but I don't know about Monsters Inc or Bug's Life. A bug's Life also had a music only track presented in stereo.

A channel about all of this greatness? You son of a beach, I'm in! ⛱️

Ben Heck is going to love this.
I was wondering when listening to the ADR "where's the reverb on their voices?" But alas, they added it in the end. Thank you for this Joe!
I love that the sound at 7:50 is literally just someone eating an apple
Any sound can fit into any situation if used correctly!
🍎
This is pure gold! Thanks Joe!
Nice Joe! Super interesting, feels like I learned something. Keep up the good work man!
This is awesome. Thanks!
Good luck with the new channel Joe.
Dude, Joe, this is really freaking good :O!

Mind... Blown
Can you go over the punch sound when indy gets beat up?
This is cool.
This was great. How were you able to isolate all the individual tracks?
Even with the isolated dialogue, I still have no idea what Indy is saying after he picks up the idol from the skewered guy's feet.
"Adios, Sapido" (Sapido being the skewered guy / former idol thief). Indy's belated response to Sapido's previous line "Adios, señor."
So wait, you had some type of audio tape that had separate sounds from the film? That's so cool! I wonder what they are.

@@chrisfratz Meet the Robinsons (2007) has that on DVD too!
Question, could I use these sounds for a short movie that I’m making? I’ll give you credit in the credits for the sounds.
This reminds me of infamous Tom Cruise scream in the trailer for The Mummy.
You did the sound effects
Lucasfilm did them.
@@soundsack5400 I know that. But the most important part is that you at least try to recreate it.
@@brucewallace1600 These are the original source sounds used in the film.
@@DarkDoge boy looking back at this comment makes me realize how time fly’s, either way I know that now
@@brucewallace1600 it sure is crazy.

How about a video demonstrating all the different music of the doom ports? The PSX port had totally original music.
