I would love to see a benchmark with the fps uncapped so I can see the potential frames if I ever wanted to play this in docked mode with a keyboard and mouse
I uncapped the fps in the future videos, you will get around 70-80 fps on low and on medium 70-60, thank you!

@@molsen7549 Dont forget, if you use a external monitor the resolution will be higher, lets say your external monitor is full hd, you will get lower fps ok, if you change the res of a full hd monitor to 720p the quality wont be that great, hope it helped
High is deffo too much but I would leave textures on high but shadows on low or completely off.
Yes, shadows off and the fps will jump even on high quality

What’s the fps with fsr low, everything low, but shadows medium and lumen shadows high

Hi, two days ago I watched this video and bought a steam deck. I installed heroic games launcher and fortnite , but when I try to start a match, the game cannot connect to the server and closes the game after 30 seconds. Please make a video on how you installed the game, your video inspired me to buy a steam deck but I didn't expect to run into difficulties😅

Hey, great vid, did you do any settings not known. Cause mine is definitely not as playable as yours. Installed windows on ssd double partition. Got my vram set to 4 in bios, everything low is the only way I get the game working fluidly. When I get higher, it stutters a lot. Fps goes all over the place.
Hey, i installed windows 11 on a sd card, the only settings i have changed are the game settings, didnt change any bios settings, thats weird, for me it only starts to drop fps when i change the quality to high, dont know if what im going to say its true or not but i already used 2 kind of sd cards, one was slower than the other one and that made my windows slower, maybe because of that, its a bit strange why you not getting similar fps as me
Try changing from directx 12 to performance mode if u didnt already
@@RgbWave well I tried using performance mode, but still only works decent on low
@@carlr.8825 my best guess is because your windows is in your ssd and not in a sd card, im pretty sure its because of that

@@RgbWave I installed windows 11 pro with the drivers then I download fortnite onto my steamdeck, it constantly stutters even at the lowest settings, and i get 20 frames max, how do you get yours to run so well?
Im playing fortnite on xbox cloud with the edge browser. Is there a better way to play on the steam OS? It plays good only if your internet speed is 30mb a sec or faster.
Hey, there is, you can play Fortnite on steam OS using heroic game launcher, you can download it from the apps store in desktop mode

@@bs2096 When you change to desktop mode on your steam deck, look on the taskbar, you will find a apps store with many games, applications, just search for heroic launcher, also theres many videos on youtube teaching how to do that, try searching a little bit, i can also make a video about it too

Hello I want to buy steam deck can I play fort nite or rocket league or fifa or that big games like five em or red dead in 60fps?
You will play them just fine, i cant say much about 5em or red dead since i have never benchmarked but im sure if i can get 40-50 fps in cyberpunk you will play every game just fine

Since it seems like you respond to most comments I'm going to take my shot, are you running both win 11 and the game off the same sd card and have you experienced any major stuttering in the game thus far?
Hey!, i have used 2 different micro sd cards, if you wanna get one, go for the best one that has more speed, you will feel a big difference when opening games or booting up win11, and no i haven’t experienced any lag or stuttering, you can expect the game to take longer time to load if you choose higher quality settings but thats just in the 1 game, then it runs smoothly, hope it helped, feel free to ask more questions!

Do you have windows 11/10 in your steam deck? Then you have to download a controller driver for the steam deck on windows, check my channel for a video called how to install windows 11 in a sd card for steam deck, i show how to install the controller drivers

Seems a bit unplayabel, you are running it at 50% native resolution all on low settings with no shadows and it's already 720p/800p. Personally I can't stand that, it is like playing on my phone.
Please pot native resolution gameplay.
Actually its very playable, with competitive settings you get plus 60 fps all the time, the steam deck resolution is 1280x800 so i guess its fine

@@oo--7714 The quality preset already chooses the 3d rendering resolution by itself, the higher the quality the higher the 3d resolution if u look, i can make a video with the best quality performance settings for fortnite
