It gives off Parisian chic vibes to me 😍 I’m not in school anymore, but when I was in high school *cough* over 10 years ago *cough* - dress codes were so pretty relaxed. There was a guy in my school who dressed like a greaser from the 50’s every single day. We’re talking leather jacket no matter the temperature outside, insanely greased hair, sunglasses, rolled-up jeans, and he even brought a leather satchel as his school bag. To this day, I still aspire to have his confidence when I dress myself
I love these outfits! I’m going into my senior year of high school, and our dresscode is basically nonexistent. Apparently it used to be strict, but everyone basically rejected it, and I think that’s partly because it’s an all-girls school.
I didn’t like a dress over pants until I got a long sheer maxi I wear over jeans and if the dress is midi or shorter I feel more comfortable with a really wide leg pants. Your outfits are always so creative. ✌🏼
When I tell you I GASPED when you said you don't like sheer dresses over pants... that's my favourite way to wear them!!! So ofc number 15 was my fav~ (20 also made me go :0) These were all so cute though, 10/10 I am inspired
My high school's dress coad was pretty relaxed. There'd be that one teacher that might say to cover up but most wouldnt care. The only thing they cracked down on was kids wearing blankets around
We had a dress code at both high schools I went to, but neither of them were super enforced. Which was wild bc I went to high school in California for a year of high school and then one in the south for my other years. Honestly my style isn’t very revealing anyways, but I was never told my maximalist style was too distracting, so I take that as a win!!!
love outfit 4!!!! i really need to make me one of them there bolero hoodies🌶🌶🌶 i got so many dresscuts (aka dress code violations) in highschool.. we couldn't do spaghetti straps and your bottoms had to be at least as long as your finger tips (which like, is basically to the knees in my case lol). even on days when i HAD to wear my lacrosse uniform to school they would still dress cut me??? hello? patriarchy is that you???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
My school also required skirts and shorts to at least be down to finger-tip length. It's pretty arbitrary, and they only ever called out girls for violating that requirement 🙄
I’m going into my last year of high school, and I really love outfits 10 and 20. Totally getting inspired to make a patchwork dress as well, because yours is so nice! My school’s dress code is non-existent, in that the rules aren’t written anywhere and it’s just whatever a teacher says goes.
I like the dark academia inspired looks like 02 most on you.^^ When it gets colder I would add sheer black stockings and a blazer to the look! And when it's hot, just slip off your socks and change the loafers for slides!

Dress codes reminds me of Iran... I'm not religious but the power as mass concentrated thought has had measurable effects on the physical world, so pray for Iranian protesters people!!

I live in Alabama so as you can imagine our dress code was ridiculously strict. Even though it was a public high school our rules were: No shorts above the knee, no spaghetti straps, no crop tops, no hats or head wear, no jeans with holes, no hoods, no shoulder cut outs or anything low cut. These rules were only enforced on the female students by male teachers..
even though all the girls wear crop tops, my mum won’t let me wear a binder (a long kinda sports bra cuz i’m a trans boy) with a self crocheted net long sleeve😭
