female knight characters that protect us from nightmares?!?!?!?! i love her. I LOVE HER. also you're seriously rocking these analysis/guide videos!!!! educational, fun & inspiring. 😍
I just fell in love with her style in Next in Fashion. It did not hurt that she had the sweetest personality and was so adorable every second of the show. This video was great. I will probably be back to borrow ideas a few more times.
@@beepwrld yes actually you should check out Q2han they are twin sisters that live in Seoul Korea. They have introduced me to so many amazing designers in there TH-cam videos and IG. I been following them for years since they were students at FIDM. But off the top of my head I would say LIE , eye eye and I like Jamie Wonder(but she is mostly accessories. C-zannie is cool too.
I adore Minju! I think I watched 'Next in Fashion" at least twice (okay, maybe more..) just to see her work and her sweetness. She designs in a way that speaks to me (oversized, layered, sheer...etc). You did a great job with your recreations. My fav was the black dress, short sheer black dress and green ruffled top. Really sweet. She inspires me and so do you ❣ Thanks!
love that you chose minju kim for your second video of the series. her designs make me so emotional, to the point i find it hard to articulate what i like about them. idk, i guess one vague descriptive term that works for me is inner child. very much honoring the collective inner child.
NaurRR you killed that. I could see each of those looks walking down the runway. My favorite was the green tank with sheer dress and black skirt. I want it immediately.
This may be my favorite video you have done yet. Everything is spot-on and well-researched, and every outfit fits the collection perfectly. This made me want to try her style myself SOOO BADLY. Amazing work!!
I loved this! It’s such a unique and awesome video concept! 👏 I really enjoyed watching Next in Fashion, and I absolutely love everything about Minju and her inspiring artistic designs! 😍 You did a great job of featuring her as a designer and capturing her signature design elements in your outfit pairings! 👌 It would be amazing if you were to do a video like this about Angel Chen (Minju’s friend who was her partner on Next in Fashion!). 😊 Also would be amazing to see a video like this about Issey Miyake (would be a great tribute as well, since he recently passed away). ❤
the look with kathleen's embroidered top is def my fave, that top brings me so much joy and i'm so glad that you like it too aa i want a copy but the charm of it being one of a kind is so cool :D
Luella Bartley's Luella might be a good brand to take a look at in this series. The business died in the early 2010's, so not as relevant now. But their Spring 2009 collection is a firm favourite of mine for its maximalism, bright colours, florals, ruffles, and layering. More recent examples would be Molly Goddard, Shrimps, Alessandro Michele's Gucci, Mukzin, and Vivienne Westwood!
Wow! Girl, you're amazing! I'm blown away 🤩🤩first of all I love how u edited the video and added photos of her looks and models, that was great and I really enjoyed it it was so fun 🥰 I love how u created your outfits, especially the 2nd one with blue and green colors, which look sooo good on you! 💙 4th outfit is very cool I wish I could have both white shirt and red skirt. 😍 and at the end is the best girly dress that I've seen lately; it fits you perfectly it makes you look so beautiful and elegant and sweet, and again I want it! ✨️✨️✨️ You're doing amazing keep going, love you! ❤🥹🌸🌞
@@beepwrld yeeeeeerrrrrrrpppp. Hell yah never don’t not stop doin what you’re doin!…I think that makes sense. Triple negative? I dunno. I was told there’d be no math.
Hiya, I love this video and all the designs really suit you! I loved the blouse Kathleen made for you too. It was great to see this designer's work as I remember her from that programme. I love Etro, particularly the FW22 with the range of colourful fabrics and ethnic vibes.
unfortunately there are! I have literally been meaning to bring back this series since this video but they just take so much time haha. There will be more eventually!!!
I agree Minjukim clothes are cute all her designs are copied from the 60s and her take on a traditional Korean costume its her actual pattern designs that are really her as Chanel said their is nothing new just reinvented in hence saying this I like her clothes they are fun
So her designs are the ones being bastardized by fly by night on line fashion pushers. Wait for a year to get the item only to find it’s not what was pictured. Returns? Lol. The company is long gone and has been replaced by another using the same photos. Have found Amazon does this as well but their return policy is much better AND the Women’s department at Kohls (where my Amazon returns go) have some interesting silhouettes oversized and on super clearance right now. Can create this look with the $6.00 shear button up dress and a linen dress I’ve had for twenty years….now considered vintage I guess. One of the perks of curating for decades.
Fairy tales aren’t exclusively European lol 🙄 also just because she is Asian doesn’t mean she can look to those fairytales for inspiration. She has many poofy silhouettes that do call back to what we would traditionally think of when it comes to fairy tales. She just does a good job at also mixing them with aspects of traditional Korean outfits, and other modern silhouettes. And what part of “female knight characters that protect us from nightmares” doesn’t sound like a fairytale to you? Lol you’re thinking too literally,
Fairytale in fashion means frilly, whimsical, poofy styles something youd see in a fairytale persay. Also asian fairty tales are a thing. Youll find cultures tend to share a lot of ideas like Cinderella.

ALSO LOOK 3 ARE YOU SERIOUSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spot on. So good. Also so glad you tried the vest inside-out!!!!!
AND THE DRESSSSSSS YOU MAAAAADE! What the helllll it's so good. Also is it annoying that I live-tweet all of your videos? lol.
OMG I love Minju, I've watched Next in Fashion a million times just because of her designs and personality ❤️❤️❤️

The 3rd and 4th outfits are IT 🤩
It was fun to see this one as I watched the Netflix’s shows she won. Fun to see what she has been doing.

I didn't see any fairytales in her style because she is Asian, and not and European. I see lots of influence of the kimonos.
