He reminds me of a younger David graeber. We must protect him.

Hope that Jason can get on Joe Rogan's podcast one day. The more we expose these issues, the better.

I'd see it more productive if he went on Abby Martin's podcast, Lee Camp's, or JT's from Second Thought.

Its about decentralization of power to the community, and not having it concentrated purely at the state/government level, and the establishment of peer to peer organizational structures in order to mobilize the people. This isn't as hard as you think. For instance mumbai has 227 electoral wards, couldn't you set up 227 councils that are drawn up from different social classes and have them fully autonomous in their spheres of influence? No beuracracy, mid management, etc. That is part of my idea of how I plan to tackle extreme poverty. Resource allocation is not about donations, but about creating local democratically led group funds, and larger level fund issues are about the establishment of relationship driven partnerships.

She gave him an opportunity to explain what a post-capitalist economy looks like. He said democracy. But what does that mean? What does that look like? How do we transition from the current UN structure to one he’s suggesting. He said several platitudes without explaining his reasoning. I want to agree with him. We know the what, we know the why, now tell us the how.

How can you possible dimmish her talking about her beauty? Thats a really poor comment. She shows brilliance and she asked some astonishing questions.

So you run out of money due to poor governance then you go begging to the world bank and expect a loan with no strings attached??? Fantasy.

You seem to ignore the fact how the global North throughout all these years have been exploiting the resources of the global South. When you compare the exploitation with the aid then the aid is like a drop in the ocean.

it's like saying " I won't stop being a mass consumer. However I want to change the nature of mass consumption" Tell that to millions of Indians, Chinese or X and you hear a massive roar of laughter.
