      If you have world market near you go to the British section and yiu can try it. Or check in your local King sooper british section and they might have it.

      I had to look "Orange squash" up too, I think that it is what we call "nectar d'orange" in France (which is not the same think as orange juice), but I am not sure.

      "Orange squash" in the UK is basically the same as Tang in the US.

    I have been blending lemons and limes for sometime now with the peels on and does it ever taste good, watered down to what I like and a pinch of Stevia.

      You won't get much flavour that way.
      That's like saying "Wow coffee is just water with coffee beans in it, so I guess I'll just drink water instead."

      @@HOTD108_ It's not just the flavour. It's the added sugar too. And coffee is not just about flavour. Think about coffee as a drug and it's cultural and social significance etc etc. Coffee is definitely not just a flavour it's more a way of life. As opposed to orange flavoured water which has no merit on it's own or even health qualities. No comparison.

    So can we maybe see what the 98% of the "oils" and how those are produced instead of the 2% of oranges.
    It's like calling a soup salt cause it contains a pinch of it. I want to know what the actual soup is

    As a Californian I am flabbergasted. I've never heard of orange squash. The organic cold-pressed orange juice here is delicious, plentiful, no added sugar. Or you can just make a fresh glass of oj at home. Maybe for Brits it's nostalgia or...something?

      @Bluewolfe96 Thank you for your reply. I did not know this. It is an outrageous price . I guess bc the guy went to Spain, I assumed there's plenty of oranges nearby, just ship 'em. But I guess if Brexit effects produce prices (as another commenter suggested) it won't be that simple. 😥

      @Bluewolfe96 you say the UK is expensive for groceries but that is not my experience at all. If you are sensible you can get high quality produce at reasonable prices.

      @Bluewolfe96 Orange juice (1.54 liter) is $3 to 6/£4.23 for the good stuff. There were fourteen different types of fresh oranges, which is normal. The little Clementines (small, sweet, seedless) were $4.98/£3.51 for 5 lbs (25 in bag). My fav is blood oranges; I got 2 for $1.39/£0.98. Seven organic large Valencias (4 lb bag) was $4.99/£3.52. Navels were $0.98 per lb, so like 4 oranges for £0.69

      The problem isn't the oils, the problem is that it is *all* the oils. You are getting both the flavorful oils in the zest along with all of the bitter oils in the rind. However, there is so much added sugar in these products that the bitter oils are actually beneficial to prevent the drink from tasting sickeningly sweet.

      No, it's called orange squash. I personally don't buy it, but it's cheap! In Britain we're utterly dependant on imports 👎

      @@alumlovescake it's reconstituted from dehydrated pulp. Here in the UK we import the dried pulp and add water and packaging in factories here. It's done that way because we can't grow oranges, and the fresh fruit wouldn't keep long enough to get to the shelves still fresh. 😏

      @@英語わかりません Orange trees can grow in plenty of third world countries and in-season local oranges aren't all that expensive. I had a number of trees in my yard but they were unfortunately taken out by blight year before last.

    How many oranges in one glass of orange juice?? It depends how big is the glass, and how big are the oranges! And how much water and sugar have been added to the orange juice if at all.

    4:20 How come 95° for 21 sec reduces vitamin C? Melting point of vitamin C is 190°C and let alone the boiling 553°C? Unless they reply, I am going to doubt every single episode of food unwrapped 😤

      It has nothing to do with melting and boiling. If it's just about melting and boiling it wont be lost, that would be just like distillation. Vitamin C begins to denature at a temperature as low as 30C when water and oxygen is involved.

    Here in California its normal to take 20 oranges ta make one glass
    Drink it daily

      haha! Maybe if we could grow oranges in the UK, but we grow virtually nothing! It's all imported! One good alternative would be carrot-juice. It's sweet and delicious, and we grow plenty of them, if you get them from a farm-shop. I won't touch Supermarket produce - sorry to be picky, but they're all imported, irradiated, uber-washed - and bland! 😯

      @@tvted6160 if you've don't your research properly, you'd understand, some fructose is fine. It's the dosage that make something poisonous or damaging to your health. With that said, most people do tend to eat too much fructose but some fructose is fine.

      Good for you. Don't stop there! The best education you can give them is to show them what they're eating. I'm so mad that the British public have basically been sold the lie that somehow manmade products are "better" than natural foods! The biggest whopper is breakfast cereals! Don't get me started.......😏
