Leh to Manali Bike Ride on Gixxer SF 250 | Atal Tunnel | Extreme Offroad in Sarchu's Dust | Ep8

- Travelled from Leh to Manali in 14 hours on my Gixxer SF 250, crossing TanglangLa, LaChungla, Nakeela, and BaralachaLa Passes. Video also features Atal Tunnel and Dust Bath in Sarchu. One of the most extreme days that we encountered on our road trip in Ladakh. Missed recording the Gata Loops (Famous for the ghost of Gata Loops).
We left Leh around 4 in the morning passing Upshi, Rumtse to reach Tanglang La pass at 6 AM, freezing cold temperature -6°C at 17500 Ft, It was difficult to breathe and we couldn't close our Visors to avoid cold as the fog was settling on it. We stopped at Dipring for some Maggi and tea. People were really nice to offer warm water and they already had a fire burning. We then moved on towards LachungLa Pass via Pang Village which is at a height of 16000 Ft. We crossed Gata Loops which are 22 in numbers, and then came the extreme off-roading in Sarchu's dust road. Full of loose sand and water crossings. We filled our bikes with petrol that we were carrying in jerry cans and continued towards BaralachaLa Pass (15000 Ft) . We moved on crossing Keylong, Darcha, Jispa to reach the Atal Tunnel which bypasses the Rohtang Pass. We checked in our hotel Nehru Kund in Manali around 6:30 PM.

comfort to expect nahi kar sakte, thoda aggressive hai riding style. non stop to bhai aap par and road pe depend karega.
Do u get back pains on gixxer 250?
no, never, only palm gives pain, due to aggressive riding position.

I am surprised to see the gixxer climbing mountains. I own a bs4 sf250 , but the thing is the stock brakes don't have a good feedback(the brake lever starts vibrating and don't brake at all ) on the broken roads of the city and rode it to my friends village and on those muddy roads it was the same thing so just wanna a know you ever felt the same in the city or on tours?

how about gixxer sf 150 can we go for offroad ride, mountains??
Yes you can, but at places you will face issues with the power of the bike, when the climb is steep or in offroads.

How does headlight perform in darker roads?
Good question! Headlight is good. No need for extra lamps. Thrice we were riding in dark, the day we reached Noida, Jammu and this one, early morning departure from Leh towards Manali.

You will get wind blast on all bikes except adventure bikes. That's why bought versys 650, It's not exactly adventure bike, but solves the purpose.
I have a Gixxer 250..Planning to do a Ladakh trip on it! A little Skeptical about it! How did the Bike perform? And Was Ground Clearance an issue?
I’ve already tried to share the review of the bike in Ladakh. ground clearance is just fine, you won’t face any problem with the bike, just check the bike once with service centre, brake pads, clutch plate etc should be fine.

What do you mean by engine stress? I think you want to say engine overheating and all, nope, gixxer's engine is good in those sense. Only in zojila pass I heard it's radiator turning on.

Engine of Gixxer 250 never fails and among the 250cc Segment it got the best engine. Response on every obstacles for Ladakh circuit roads it's really smooth. Only due to mrf revz c series tyres it misses the grip at zojila mud slush.
In my opinion if you want a small bike with all touring capabilities, consider vstorm 250. I don't find any bike which can compete with it.
