Hi everyone. If you're from the Toronto area or are visiting, next week Sept. 29th from 3:30 to 6:30 there's a watch community sales event happening at Gem Bijou. Lot's of good sales and even if you want to just come down and try on a few pieces and chat watches you're more than welcome. Hope to see some of you there!
I just ordered one today. Couldn’t resist it. I have an Ecozilla amongst a lot of other divers but I love how unique this one is. Can’t wait to get it on wrist. Plus the price I got it new and it was too good to pass up. 👊🏼🤙🏼
Hey J! Yeah this one idms definitely a fun wear. I think it might find it's way into the watch box at some point. A friend has an older version so I might try and put together a comparison video soon. Thanks!
Fantastic looking watch. The design really stands out. The blue version would be my pick as it just pops. I wish there was a bracelet option, otherwise a nearly perfect watch.
Absolutely stunning looking watch. My current Citizen Eco Drive, after 2+yrs, the power reserve meter has stopped working, so will soon need to get a new one. Will come down to Gem Bijou and try it on as I have a 6.75" wrist and the measurements you gave on this watch are pretty large
Just got to handle one today. I remember when these were originally in circulation. It was a hate it or love it regarding the styling. As it went out of production it seemed to gain in popularity...... Strange how that happens.... either way I like seeing these re-issues if it keeps true to the original. The proprietary strap set-up is a concern as I love changing out straps. Still......I may pick one up. The unorthodox retro look has grown on me.
Funky! I'd call it a magic mushroom too, either way it's gorgeous! Love it, honestly. Plus EcoDrive is... lust that lasts! Cheers Bob, thanks for this review mate, be well.
you help talk me into it I just got one on eBay.. The blue one for 200 I'm stoked I've got a seven and a half inch wrist and I've kind of gotten away from bigger watches I like the 38 to 40 range but I couldn't help but to get it I figured I'd sell it if it didn't work
Now I've got a new watch because it's a very resistant watch but without a bracelet because citizen says that they don't produce them any more. It's not fair.
@@princerobk5405 The strap is very long. I just tried it again to confirm and the tip of the strap is just one thumb width away from touching the case. Haven't been a problem at all because the keeper doesn't slide.

The return of an epic diver model by Citizen. Love the back case. Great video as always, Bob!
The caseback is really cool. Thanks Adrian!

Cool. Yeah great watch. I love it!
I am generally not into a larger watch but this one is speaking to me. I love the looks of that bad boy.
I wasn't expecting to like it nearly as much as I did. It's a great watch for sure. Thanks!
Gotta love these wild designs from Citizen! Looks like it would be fun to wear.

Very cool...just another great watch by Citizen 👏 Thank you for sharing 👍
It is a great one. Thanks!
Such a cool watch! And probably the most underrated brand out there.
They definitely deserve more love. Thanks!
This is such a cool reissue. I love the ecodrive too. Thanks for sharing Bob!!
Totally cool one for sure. Thanks A!
Sapphire is tough, but more prone to shattering. Mineral crystal is a great choice for ISO rated divers.
Fantastic looking watch. The design really stands out. The blue version would be my pick as it just pops. I wish there was a bracelet option, otherwise a nearly perfect watch.
I've only seen pictures of the blue but it looks really nice. Thanks!
Very cool! Has a retro 90's vibe for sure. Great review Bob!
Thanks Matt!
Great video thanks, hi from Greece, just ordered the watch after 8 months trying to resist....
Awesome. Congrats on the new watch. I'm actually going on vacation to Greece in July. Staying mostly in Krete.😁👍
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces enjoy your stay

The strap coming out from the case might not work for you but worth a try for sure. Seeya soon!

Yeah man this one's very cool. Might find it's way into my watch box :) Thanks Stavros!
Cool watch. I really like Citizen's Eco Drive. Before moving to Europe I would go orca watching every year in and around Peugeot Sound.
That's cool. I've gone as a kid near Vancouver. I'd love to go again someday.
This one is one of the rare watches that I know are too big for me, but I would still get it. 😅 Great and unique piece! 💪
Lol. Yeah it's that cool. Thanks Tom 😁👍
Very cool. Would like to own it for the experience, but can't say "I'm in love". The caseback is awesome!
Love the caseback too. Definitely one you need to see in person to fully appreciate. Thanks man 👊
... I like everything except for the long strap, meant to go over wet/dry suit ...
I Absolutely love the caseback
Me too! Thanks.
I own the nineties version and it's super duper....if this newer model is better I need it. I Agree their should have been better band options.
Might be cool to have both in a collection. I'd love to get them side by side for a video someday.
Hat the mini strap attachment though. Otherwise, it’s an awesome watch!
i have bought him recently its a awesome good looking and good watch 👍👍👍,,,mark
Nice! It's definitely a great watch.
The blue version looks sweet:)
I like the blue too. Even the blacked out pvd model looks cool.
When he says the bezel feels clunky he means solid as a rock.
I confirm. Tried to rotate it clockwise and there is zero playback!
Love the orca vibe. Seriously tempted. Bad to the bone is right.
It's such an awesome watch. Thanks!
Where can I find the bracelet for the old one?
I have citizen ecozilla and casio marlin want to buy orca and whale shark
Bought one and enjoyed it, but the strap was WAY too long for me. Ended up moving it along
Yeah it's super long. I was ok with it but it was borderline. Thanks!
Hello, there is no shorter strap alternative?
@@alexstrat it's an integrated strap, so I'm not sure if you can get something else from Citizen or not
Love the orca
Awesome watch for sure. Thanks!

I really liked it. I didn't mind the size at all. Should wear pretty good on your wrist size. Thanks!
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces Thankye from Denver North Carolina
Yes it's a great watch but it's no good that they don't make anymore de bracelet for the older version
Love the look of this one it is so unusal.
Thanks Mark!
Now I've got a new watch because it's a very resistant watch but without a bracelet because citizen says that they don't produce them any more.
It's not fair.
The bracelet of this new version doesn't feat the older one despite they're the same watch
Nice
Thanks!
Just got it for 340
Nice! Enjoy it.
Y a comprar uno y la correa no es adecuada al reloj.
Unique looking watch Bob. Not for me though.😎🇨🇦
Thank Kevin. Have a great weekend!
About to try this guy on Wednesday, with my pathetic 16.8-17.0 cm wrist... Wish me luck hahaha
Update: Looks a little big, but not ridiculous. I love it and I am not sending it back!
Is there a lot of extra strap or does the keeper take care of most of it?
@@princerobk5405 The strap is very long. I just tried it again to confirm and the tip of the strap is just one thumb width away from touching the case. Haven't been a problem at all because the keeper doesn't slide.
I‘m sad, because you can‘t change the watchband! Maybe for a Natostrap or other! Epic fail from citizen… 😢
