As a christian I feel bad for both Palestinians and Israelis so many innocent lives lost on both sides I truly hope they can find peace with each other. War is a horrible thing and it only cause death and destruction. My thoughts and prayers are with all the families and friends of the Palestinians, Israelis and the tourists who lost their lives in these horrible attacks.

Yeah, an economic collapse worldwide. USD can only take so much more abuse in currency value before it gets flopped as the world's reserve currency.
Young people have no idea how poor they can be without that status. In the event we lose reserve currency status. I'd guarantee that a large amount of young people would commit suicide; no fortitude and no adversity.
At this point, this is not just between Palestine and Israel. Each side represents something and whichever side you're on, it reflects your values and how you see the world, humanity and everything in it. We're in the stage where we have to raise our state of awareness so we can't be manipulated on what to believe in. I'm sure we all have our reasons why we side with one and not the other. I think this is just start and more chaos will come.

Israel has been pushing Palestinians into smaller spaces and violating all previous agreements. They have been encroaching on Palestinian land for decades. Go and look at the map of that place from 1980 and look at it now. See how much land belongs to the Palestinians then and now and tell me who is terrorizing who?

You've probably only interacted with English speaking folks, but you'd be APPALLED to hear the hate speech that is being said and written in Arabic. Major Arabic speaking networks like AlJazeera Arabic are spewing anti-semetic hate. Of course we shouldn't turn a blind eye to the other side. Why protest against each other, when they should protest together to stop the conflict. There are innocent people on both sides of Isreal and Gaza. Defend borders fine- but desolate a national community..NO. Most people want peace, not war. Just to live lives peacefully.

I think it's a good thing that young people have kept abreast of world events and are not too disengaged or self-involved to be aware of the real world dangers. As difficult as dialogue on these issues may be, peace is always a worthy goal and mutual understanding goes a long way toward achieving that end.

First, it's okay for students on both sides to express their opinion, but they should do so in a peaceful manner. Second, whichever side you are on, you must condemn attacks on innocent people, whether perpetrated by Hamas or Israeli army. Third, one should not look at the current turmoil in isolation . It's a new chapter in a bloody and horrible story that can only end when injustice ends.
