I bought this watch in about 2015 or maybe 14. I replaced the original battery after 5 years. The replacement battery lasted a year and then I replaced it. It's been a fantastic watch. Holds sentimental value. I chipped the glass face around 6 months into owning it up near the day LCD. I accidentally knocked out the entire inner of the watch last time I replaced the battery and never got it back in properly. A tiny spring bounced out from somewhere and I couldn't find where to get it back in, I broke the latch that houses the battery and the Reverse button no longer functions. The strap perished and split at the part where the buckle pin runs through the slot at the end of the band. I superglued that back together successfully. The analogue hands do not rotate freely when attempting to sync with digital time as per following the guide for that process. I have to manually press the Forward button and the minute hand will only move about 3 minutes each press. It took me ages to jog the analogue hands roughly in time with the digital time. Not perfect but I got it very close.
The watch is still going. I rarely take it off. I shower with it, have hiked thousands of kms with it, sleep with it. It's done everything. And it's still kicking. It's no longer fully functional and plenty of things are broken or lost, but it stays accurate, looks good and the analogue hands keep spinning. I just found one online the other day and bought it. When this old soldier finally gives it up I'll have the replacement ready to go. I believe the watch dates from 2012. It's out of production now. Shame, because it's a fine looking watch.

You used tweezers to grab the new battery. This shorts the battery and, at best, reduces the battery life. At worst, it can damage the battery.
