The reason Bardic Inspiration is so used and loved is simply the meme value of whipping out a guitar and playing a song with it in the middle of a deadly game with a killer on the loose
I have a rework for No Mither Permanently Injured 3% speed bonus to all actions, gain a extra 3% every time you reach a hook state (6% on 1st and 9% on death hook) Scratch marks don't last as long No pools of blood No grunts of pain
I don't think anyone uses Bardic Inspiration due to it's ussage. It's mainly just the "Hehe, funni guitar" perk, which is why i run it often. Also, defending Hardened, if you run it with that one Belmont perk, you have a long amount of aura-reading on the killer when you get hit or hooked. Also, up the ante is kinda fun, especially if you run Slippery and luck offering
@@notsure3294 I agree with the 1st and 3rd point bardic is funny and ante is hilarious with slippery i agree however hardened isn’t it for me because i hate the whole aspect of devoting multiple perks just to make 1 perk useful
@saltnest1 full respect. I just run hardened because i like it and i have no idea what to run alongside Champion Of Light, Fixated, and Kindred since i don't have Ressidual Manifest
I feel like making a response video to this i feel like a lot of things were missed in use cases of the perks. Also how to fix the perks and as someone who sees value in just about every perk what my own 10 worse perks in dbd would be.
self care isnt bad. I know what u mean by its shit if u play soloq and someone is using it, but self care in a SWF is realy good. combine it with the boon which increases healing speed and u have a safe spot to heal up in some seconds. Their is a reason why the best comp team in Japan is using it and they also won against eternal in a tournament with self care so I disagree, its not bad if u know how to use it properly but yyes, its realy bad in soloq
@@saltnest1 completly disagree, if you run botany this perk is reasonable enough. Sure its not good, but the reason is bad - is the player, not the perk. It all depends on how you use it lol
@ running botany and self care makes it so that ur devoting half of the build for healing, you might aswell bring a medkit or inner strength at that point, it’s obsolete
@@saltnest1 Like said already its not a bad perk and I woudnt use botany as well but if u ever played comp or in a team which only wants to win, self care is not bad. U normaly want to reset with a partner far away where as example a gen is complete already. Their with the boon to heal faster and self care u create the best reset spot possible which saves time. U normaly are 2 healing each other while 1 chases and 1 does gen bit this is not efficent. Imagine now u can reset alone with no medkit. U can bring 4 toolboxes instead and since u have +4k hours u should know that 4 toolboxes in a good sfw team is basicly ggs for u. I was able to play against a monster comp team before and they completely destroyed me with self care builds.
U have the mindset of a soloq player and I understand that in your circumstances u are deffinitly right but if u ever faced a team asylum run self care with boon u will have ptsd from self care and see it in a diffrent pov
NOTE TO ADD: this is my opinion and there’s many other bad perks like “calm spirit” but these are ones that i think i find less useful and just overall not worth running.

As someone who mains Ace and runs No Mither + Self Care + Inner Strength + Plot Twist, this is a must have on a meme build
Strength in Shadows is just better self-care
