  • Quick video on the eberlestock gen 3 terminator F4 ruck.
    Sorry had to as low volume as possible so i keep the minions asleep so they can get rest. So far the ruck is amazing and i highly recommend it over the gen 2.
    Ive had other soldiers input on the ruck and they love it and yet to have any issues yet.

    I got the same chair you got from our PX. Nice little chair to have on the trail or FTX. BTW How is the Terminator holding up all these months later? I'm looking to upgrade from my Halftrack to the Terminator but I want to hear a long term review before buying one.

      It's outstanding. I completed the Norwegian ruck about a month ago. Which is 18 miles , 25 dry. Mine was 29 dry and 40 with water. Very very comfortable and that's a couple hours after battle drill lanes. I've had this in the field alot at this point in rain,snow,flooded completely,frozen lol only major damage to the ruck was where the bottom of the frame meets the bag is slightly work from me dragging and moving the ruck around. I just purchased the 90° frame as a upgrade to help protect the bottom more but have not fielded it yet.

      Also beware sitting on the chair in a weird was or your gonna bend it and mess it up. Was bored and sat on it with my loaded ruck

    Are you using this as an assault pack, or are we talking a full ruck filled with Standard SOP ???
    I was thinking of getting this, but already have the Tactical Tailor RHINO Ruck (thinking of getting their RR5500), Eberlestock V90 Battleship, the CSM Multi Mission Ruck (was tested at Ft. Bragg, never really fielded, looks like a Blackhawk SOF-type of ruck), Tactical Tailor Long Range Operator Pack, etc...
    Keep up the great work !!!
    Respectfully, from an old 11B.

      METT-TC
      I'm currently using it for holding extra things for Joe and anything needed at the point in time.
      Full ruck filled with whatever the mission is at that point or movement. So could be a
      Harris or ACIP
      Sleep system,
      Socks
      shirts
      Extra batteries for the radio
      SI
      4 MRE or First Strike meals
      I'm assuming you're literally asking about the Basic training DOC packing list. If so yes!
      SOP is unit and mission-dependent for packing and just about everything.

    • @theninja9563
      @theninja9563  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is that what your asking. Currently not packed as it would be for full mission. I'll be making another video sooner or later that will be a bit better.

      @@theninja9563, as a former 1SG and PSG, I understand that SOP is unit- and mission- dependent.
      What I was asking, since it seems that I was unclear, is if you are using that pack as an Assault Pack, or are you using it (due to the tubular frame) as a full Ruck (which usually has 4500+ cu.in.) ???
      Speaking of "Unit/Mission SOPs"....when did standard Line Units start to allow non-issued rucks/assault packs to be used ???

    • @theninja9563

      @@thefucrew9865 Most units authorize non issued rucks dependent on command. Especially LRS and other recon units. With schools such as air assault,airborne, ranger, not sure about Jungle anymore require either ALICE or MOLLE/ MOLLE 2 rucks.V90 is very good and there is also now a XL Terminator F4 gen 3. Which would have more room. Both the V90 and F4 XL will/ should be better in respects to space. Thanks and I think one of the guys are looking at the XL so I can give you more information on it if you like. I do know that I have a well seasoned prior LRS officer That had the Terminator F4 gen 2 for several tours and still has it kicking ass.

    How much more comfortable compared to regular Army CIF issue ruck?

    • @theninja9563

      I find it to be very comfortable. Compared to the Molle2 ruck I'd say it's a lot more comfortable once you set it up correctly.

    Did they fix the sway with the gen 3?

      I didn't have issues with sway personally. But depending how you have it adjusted matters as well. I have a video some where of my jumping and swinging around to show how stable it is.

    • @theninja9563
      @theninja9563  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @MotorsportsX So expirence on the ruck, over 300 miles so far. I find it very comfortable during the Norwegian ruck March, which is 18 miles, and I had 30 pounds dry and with water pushing over 40, and it felt great still. I also did an 18 mile with 65-70 pounds and felt comfortable still. But I also removed the belt, which makes it more comfortable to me. Alot of personal preference, but I find it comfortable for me. Especially since a lot of the time I have a plate carrier or IOTV with plates, which makes it to where I won't be really able to tell if I have the pad or not. I recommend seeing how the ruck feels without the belt. It's held in by velcro and easy to remove and install. Also you could try installing a lumbar pad at your desired position and make sure you have the strap adjusted for best comfort. I hope this helps at least a little. I'll try to get some more videos after I get back to the states.
