  • Paul Wachs (1851 - 1915) was a French composer, organist, and pianist. As a student at the Conservatoire de Paris, his teachers included François Benoist and César Franck for organ and Victor Massé and Antoine François Marmontel for composition. After his studies, he became the second organist at the Church of Saint-Sulpice and later became the choirmaster at the Church of Saint-Merri, which position he held until 1896. He is most remembered today for his salon compositions for piano.
Played on the sample set for the 2004 Jacek Siedlar organ at the Church of St. John Cantius in Kraków, Poland. Sample set by Piotr Grabowski.
