I had a Hodaka Ace 100B when I was 16. She almost killed me due to an air leak when the top of the carb rattled loose and it started running full bore down a gravel road with me on the back :)
I always test from spark plug fitting. I question 1 PSI per per minute and still dropping. Yes you do have a small leak but it leaks. Always leak test your connections first
I leak tested my hodaka 80 cc and pumped it to 6 psi and quickly leaked to 3 psi and held. What do you think is casing that. Leaking crank seals but holding fine at 3psi is my guess.
hi cant we use same tester for 4 stroke as well. I dont know why they have different one for 4 stroke , do u know any reason. In other words to test 4 stroke u neeed to connect to air compressor like we do for cars. Please advise if you can.
Hi. I have a 2005 Cr85 that I just put a new top end in. One day is stalled out like it was out of gas then didnt start back up again. So I thought it needed a top end. It didn't solve the problem and I pulled the plug. It had blackish brownish oil on it. I cleaned it and it still didnt start. Im thinking the cylinder might be clogged with oil? what could be the problem? PLEASE HELP! ANYONE!

Nice video an easier way to find bottom dead center is to look through exhaust port before plugging it watch piston go down
If I pressurized the motor through the spark plug hole, would I still need to put the piston BDC? Thanks, good video!

how you can pump pressure into whole engine through intake port when the port is in BDC covered with piston?

I have a 1988 Suzuki LT500 Quadzilla and if I want to perform this test, do I have to do anything differently since my quad is liquid cooled? Thanks!!
