Yes, she is fantastic. There is another guitarist I have been enjoying for years on youtube, Chantel McGregor . Voodoo Child, A New Day Yesterday and a lot more . Well worth a listen.
Very good. Impressive. And only 17 years old? The Sky is the limit for Grace. I've listened for many years to Stevie Ray Vaughan, and, in my own opinion, no one comes close to him. Hendrix, also, is in a league of his own. You've set the bar for this young lady, pretty darn high. I am only now becoming aware of her, but I'll keep her on my radar. Thank you for bringing her to our attention.
Wow, Grace Bowers, hey? never heard of her; but I am paying attention now. George, I'm with you I will be off to track down her album, she is simply sublime. There are other young artists out there that are kicking goals with incredible musicianship, Grace is right up there with them, she is so damn talented. It fills me with hope for the future.
Bloody brilliant chaps. Next time someone tells me that nobody plays great music any more I'll be playing some of Grace's music. PS. I used to go to Barry Humphries one man shows in the 70's, f**ken hilarious.
So did we a few times in Melbournes Comedy Theatre. And we learnt two things. Never be a latecomer or else you’d be eviscerated. And the other thing was don’t sit in the front row or you’ll get covered with flying slobber from the gob of a half pissed Sir Les Paterson. 😂
Wow, mind blown! Never heard of her either, but that's not unusual for me, as I don't listen to new stuff most of the time. Gotta admit, I'm very impressed and now I'm gonna have a closer look at Grace. Thanks guys, it's so good to hear young people doing it right. 💖🔥
Great stuff on both videos! She has great tone for sure. She also is able to change it to match two legends with completely different styles and tones. L0oking forward to more from her.
All the greats were showing their talent in their teens. That is because their talent is inherent, not learned. Formal music lessons, of any, were to enhance the ability they were already showing. I expect Grace will have Steven Ray Vaughan and Hendrix on top of her list of influences though of course, Vaughan too was influenced by and remained a great admirer of Hendrix and his music.
Wooooow...i was so ready to cut you down with the 14 yr old kid from aussie taj farrant!!!... but omg ...she has been kissed by the tone gods...i bow down to your superiority...mind explosion...standing ovation!!!
She is a true guitar savant, outstanding. Check out Taj Farrant, another brilliant teen musician from Australia who is absolutely amazing! Another solid episode gentlemen!!
The SRV was good. But the JH - made me sit up and take notice. So the question in my mind is the performance we have just witnessed is from a young lady; Is she going to keep improving? And if so how? will she get more complex? more avaunt guard? or go down the Gilmour route, and become more emotive, with not a note wasted? Keep Reacting!
everyone is saying the future of music is safe but i have to add, todays ears aren't what they used to be, if it doesn't have autotune or doof doof its going to struggle, this music is for the connoisseur.
@@TheThamesmen i agree, she has what it takes. have you heard of Jackie Venson, have a quick TH-cam search, you wont be disappointed if you like young female guitarists keeping the tradition alive,, try this one. "Make Me Feel from Ghost Live by Jackie Venson" and tell me it doesnt remind you of Peter Frampton
@@TheThamesmen respectfully, The question infers a reasonable possibility. Hendrix was unlike any guitarist of the time in style and content. Not just different but wildly beyond. Is she that or just a slightly different version of everybody else currently?
We are so anxious about what future might bring to us. Now I have one fear less, at least for the music. :) She is brilliant.

Amazing talent
What about the music?

'Hello Possums!' And thank you for introducing Grace Bowers...Wow!
Our pleasure!

Couldn't agree more!
She's a tremendous guitarist, obviously. Let's hope that she will record great music of her own in the future.
She has an album with songs she co-wrote
Wow amazing young guitarist channeling Hendrix! She is excellent and only 17 years old. Thank you , when is she touring Australia?
Who knows but I would sure go and see her play if it was anywhere local to me

Seriously..thanks ...down the Alice in wonderland I go with grace!!
I think she is amazing but is she at Taj's level? Can she write her own music?
She has albums out. Need to check out some
I am knocked out. Totally.
What about the music ?

Will do and thank you

Oh she’s improving. I just saw a clip where she’s jamming with.Clark Jbr. Omg.
Probably the highest number of grace notes if ever heard.
😂
Is she the next Hendrix? We’ll find out in a little over a decade?
She has a Tiffany lamp on stage!? Hell of a rider, beats blue smarties.
Well spotted!

can she create her own riffs or just copy other guitar players
she is very good but can she create her own riffs
Man i miss good ol Rock n Roll we need more of it instead of this auto tuned no talent drivel they call music these days
She is an good for her age but nowhere near Hendrix.
NO SIR, NO ONE WILL EVER REPLACE OR BE THE NEXT THE JIMI HENDRIX !!! DUH, DUH ,DUH!! HOW COULD YOU THINK THAT! There are
Okay fair enough but she is pretty damn good for a teenager!
@@TheThamesmen That would make a great TH-cam title, not nearly as Clickbaitish as "The New Hendrix"
