Good luck with the new channel, I'm a few weeks ahead of you in ownership of a Continental GT. I have a Cfmoto 650mt adventure tourer which I have for touring and long rides but missed having a naked classic style bike. Over the Easter break I visited my local bike store to buy some new earplugs so I thought whilst I'm here I'll have a look at the showroom. I love the cafe racer look of the Continental GT650 and they had a British racing green model on display, I sat on it to see how the riding position felt to my aging body and to my surprise it was better than expected. The salesman approached me enquiring how I liked the bike to which I replied that I liked it a lot, he then said if I was interested he could do me a deal , here we go, I thought. He went on to explain that the bike was a demonstrator and had covered just 20 miles for a you tube video which coincidentally I had viewed the previous evening, it was fitted with a datatool tracker worth £350 and I could have it for less than £4300. I'm not sure what happened first , my jaw hitting the floor or my hand out to shake on the deal, whatever it was the bike was mine. In the week before I picked it up I ordered Chrome bar end mirrors, a Mr Clean chrome and black tank and a single touring seat with black cowl which I fitted as soon as the bike arrived. My next purchase was a pair of PoweRage polished stainless shorty exhausts, all the parts were sourced from India at bargain prices. I used the Conti for the distinguished gentlemen's ride where it drew lots of compliments. During your video you mentioned that you were considering dropping the suspension by 1", if you do this you might consider moving the clip on bar clamps to on top of the yoke to give you a more comfortable riding position. Enjoy your bike . Steve.
Hey Steve! Congrats on getting your Conti! The parts you’ve purchased for it sound exactly my cup of tea! I’d prefer some chrome bar end mirrors for mine too and the single touring seat also looks stunning I will probably fork out for one when I have the funds! I’ve since gone off the idea of lowering! Doing the trip up to London from Cornwall made me realise I actually have no need to lower her it was just a matter of getting used to the position as my previous bikes have been low cruiser harley type bikes! Conti for DGR is perfect and I wish I could have done it this year but was all a bit too rushed for me! Next year I’ll definitely be doing it on hopefully a heavily customised GT 650! Enjoy your bike!!
All the best with the channel. It has a surprisingly calm vibe. Very different from the noise that we see these days. Very Very cool. Also nice tank bag and grips
Last summer I did a 1,500 mile trip on my GT650 with no issues. Once you get a little bit of wind, stay relaxed and don't grip too tightly it can be a comfortable bike to ride. Just stop every once in a while to stretch the legs.
Congratulations for your new bike bro have a safe ride ahead. I'm also booked my GT 650 Mr.Clean this week and I can't wait to ride it. Love from india ❤
I watched your first 2 videos the other day and enjoyed them. Was excited to see this new video today, and the 4th video as well. Looks great and makes me want a GT. I test rode one a couple years ago and loved it. Ended up getting a Himalayan and I already have a Guzzi V7 and I still want a Classic 350 and a GT in the garage would be awesome. Lol. The struggle. Your videos are also motivating me to make videos. Been talking about doing it forever. Cheers from Ohio!
I did a 280 mile trip via the twisties and mountains to Aberystwyth and back to Lichfield last Thursday without much in the way of aches or pains. Longest trip I've been able to do on my GT so far. Subbed! 👍
Nice content. I too have the gt650 which I love. I’ve got the royal Enfield long fly screen which I find really helps on the motorway and higher speeds as well as looking great. My next purchase is exhausts which I’m still unsure to go Powerade, etc or even those scorpion yours has. Check your relays though!! 👍
Definitely a better choice w/ the DB Killers in ..... still a great sound but a better companion engine tone for the long ride. beautiful upgrades .. in love with this bike.
Great vid. I've just bought a GT, absolutely love it, very relaxed riding. Have you had any "trouble" with the black and silver number plate? Cheers Ian
Where did you get your Jacket and gloves from?! Great video!! I am just starting my motorbike journey and a Royal Enfield bike is my cup of tea just the potential insurance costs are putting me off!! Will watch your journey every step of the way!
Great to see you enjoying the bike. I was really taken with your black and white number plate, but a quick internet search says it's not legal! I would hate you to get fined for it, so just in case you weren't aware..
Same! I absolutely love the chrome but I do love this green too. It’s a tough one which I still am stuck between too! If a cheap chrome tank came up for sale I’d be tempted to grab it haha!

Nice. I was born in Essex. We left for Canada when I was young. Currently live in Calgary. Have a 1970 BSA and a couple adv bikes.

Thank you so much! I appreciate this! Tank bag and grips are my favourite! Maybe the Trip Machine 650 brown seat next 👀 have to be matching right!

That is awesome! Thanks!
Hi, the rear indicators can be easily alternated to look the same as the front. The shorter lengths looks great on mine
Love to see the royal Enfield GT on the European road.

Missing mt GT, currently undergoing repair work. Met with a small accident 😢
