Just found your channel tonight, really cool, love it. My triumph had the same issues with starting in winter and also hot starting. Would not turn over properly. Turned out to be a weak battery and a poor earth connection. She’s fine now but I carry a booster pack every where I go now, saved my ass many times as has yours. Keep up the vids mate .

Quick tip, get a pump up spray from a garden centre so you can rinse your bike off at home, especially in the winter months

Those air filters are a joke, the airbox with a K&N type filter will flow more air!

I find the field of view great when rigging but from the outside the window seems way too big for what I like! Just found your channel….. watching from here in Ireland….. nice and relaxed channel ….. not trying to be anything you are not …. I like it 👍……. Looks like you need new battery ….. not sure how much you ride or how much mechanical knowledge you have ( probably more than me 🤷🏻‍♂️) but batteries don’t like cold and need to be a really strong 12v plus ….. do you know if it is charging when riding ?

Soon as I get battery trouble I replace it. But always have a trickle charge connected if you can of course

Optimate3.. deep regeneration the battery, if that doesn't sort it, replace it.. keep the new one connected for maintenance..

My 2011 865 bonneville black wasn't starting due to a Oil temperature sensor, the diagnostics were reading minus 21 degrees below, wouldn't start on choke which was odd but eventually ran without choke, revs were up&down. I've to pick up thd new oil temperature sensor tomorrow and was wondering if anyone with any triumph bonneville experience could tell me if l can still ride the bike to the motorcycle shop 6 miles away. Thanks 😊

New battery needed Jordy. Had the same issue for a while and it came down to even though the battery had enough volts to run its struggle with cranking the bike on. It's started sometimes after riding it a bit but did leave me stranded a couple times if I sit and let it for a coffee. That seems to be happening here. One more note; I added the triumph heated grips on my wife's street twin 900 shortly after purchase. Game changer man. Best heated grips on the market and seamless integration with no stuck out wires.

Hi Jordy, I had the same starting problems on my 2017 T100. It came down to an engineering mistake from Triumph: the cables of the regulator rectifier that's positioned in between the forks were to tight around the headstock on the left right in front of the gastank. So every time I steered to the right it put too much tension on the cables. 2 out of 3 cables were just snapped so no wonder the battery got drained every time. Unfortunately the bike let me down in the middle of the night before I seriously went into investigation mode. I fixed the cables and repositioned the rectifier behind the radiator (not ideal cooling wise but Triumph itself is doing this now after many of these problems so can't be THAT bad). Now I did change the battery because of new problems (maybe it got a beating from the defect regulator rectifier donno) and the bike seems to work fine now. Maybe worth the inspection. Either way: I love your channel mate, keep it going 🔥

I own an Interceptor from Royal Enfiel and swap my handle bar for a Flat Track from BAAK and it's so fun to ride. I also own the Continental Gt and yeah, pretty ,fun for short ride but not that comfort. Nice vid again and Merry Christmas
