I've been going away (with a similar aged family of 4) in a very similar high top T25 for at least 2 weeks every Summer, and we love it. Just got back from 2 weeks in France. We even got to Norway from UK a few years ago. My top tip - we've gradually expanded out of the van into awnings of one kind or another, which really makes a difference to the amount of floorspace you have. Bulky stuff like car seats, bike panniers, bodyboards (and children!) can all go in there, plus adults can sit out when kids are asleep in the van. Last few years we've started to cook outside too which my Wife much prefers. For hot countries we use a windout awning, but for wetter places we take a big drive away one. Keep using your van with the family - each time your systems will get a bit more developed and so it gets easier!

I can feel your pain on this one! I had a T25 for 14 years and now 4 years into T6 ownership (plus 2 MGBs but thats another story). The T25 actually has more internal space than the front engined vans and the modern pop tops dont allow any storage whilst the pop top is fully up, so you can stand up. The problem is constantly moving bags and things around inside the van as you do things and the quest is to minimise these moves, I'm keen to learn more but I'd say the success we have had is get a bike rack and wind out awning, ideally in warmer weather you can spread out more, its when its rainy is more of a problem, I've also taken a 2 man tent to use as storage in this case. Try and make everything have a home so you can locate at any time, I've got a kiravans door store and you could make something similar for the T25. Have 2 bags each on the go, one with clothes etc that you dont need right away and bury those bags under the bed, in the furniture etc. Then swop during the trip, it does get out of control though. You can put bikes and other things on the bike rack and could also get a box. I put picture frame hooks under and available screws and then use bungy cords to fasten things into place, which also stops moving around whilst travelling, hooks from the head rest stem and clothes in a suit carried then when you swivel the passenger seat can also hang clothes there. I'm sure theres more we can do, the bottom line is take less stuff but that is much easier said than done. Good luck

I m know the pain . We own T25 Westfalia pop top and it is tight .😅 2 adults and 3 kids /camping stuff and buggy . Just two days ago I was doing the same thing by reducing the amount of stuff. Looking forward for next trip . 😊😊

you can never have enough storage! 🤣 to help with storage, but may bog you down speedwise, is to pull a small trailer. helps with the van suspension by moving the weight to a separate vehicle but adds to considerations of where to park.

Everything stored in the camper should have a double purpose, barring food and bedding.
Fit a bike rack as you can fold it down and put bags on instead.
Would love you to dyno the ahu/1Z.

I did Dyno it in a previous video. I'm getting 90hp out of it.

That's something I considered, but does it not block the opening of the tailgate?
