This is one Bush song that does not get enough love.
Literally their best song
@@cockyromano1606 it's definitely a banger.
Still my favorite Bush song. Absolutely brilliantly beautiful
@@DiabolikalRA it's awesome
i know this is a good awesome song of bush...
To be back in the 90s and early 2000s id give the rest of my life to have 5 years back in 98.
2024 over 1998, any day. 1998 was the shit because we were living in the present.
There is something about this screaming guitar lick that touches my soul since I first heard it at age 14. Brings me back to a special time and place.
Same, I was 16. It was my favorite driving song when I got my license. Music is a time machine, no matter how many times I listen it takes me right back😆
Have the same problem...
That intro is insane!
This new generation will never have an idea of what it was like when we were there living the movement. No social media. No cell phones. .. Making our own memories. Not watching others living ,yet living ourselves
The Science of Things is an underappreciated album
This is probably my favorite Bush song. No one knows about it besides Bush fans. The band doesn't even play it live.
Why don’t they play it live? My guess is it’s probably very hard to pull off
@@tens9100 Yeah. I have no idea. I wish they would play it live. I love it. That guitar riff is amazing! Cheers! 👍🏼👊🏼🤘🏼🍻
@@TheNothing6 they may not have played it live recently, but they have played live several times.
Bush played it live at the Starlight Theater on July 28th 2019.

how the hell does this not even get 100k views
@R I Check out 40 miles from the sun from this album, so good... also A Tendency to start Fires from RS ...I grew up with them... saw them live in 97 ...literally my fav 90s band
@Rocco-Lee Innocente no. Dont think that should be necessary on an amazing 25+ year old song.
The Science of Things and Razorblade Suitcase are great albums
Great underrated song.
Yessum
@@eLiFILMSinc fuck yeah yesm
Nigel Pulsford was an underrated guitarist
he was the secret weapon in Bush for sure...
One of my favorite Bush songs. And one of my favorite songs period. I want some of the words from it tattooed on me. " We will not let it through. The darkness and the sense of being born to lose."
I remember falling asleep with this playing on my sony silver discman back in 99. With some razor cuts and tears. #depression #teenageyears #nolove #hanginthere
What’s doesn’t kill us makes us stronger 🤟love this song
I hope you are in a better place mentally now.
teenage years are so tumultuous. a combination of inexperience, passion, and autonomy. easy to act on a whim and do something terrible in those years.
Anyone who cut themselves was a complete tool
@@mikeisagodd2121 Not as big of a tool as someone that knocks it.
It's just such an amazing grunge song that the average human being cannot even appreciate it to it's real value!
Gavin Rosedale will ever stay in my top 5 best artist/singer/rockstar on earth.
Wow, never heard this song from bush, but i grabbed my heart instantly, so I was like "Yeah, THIS is the bush I know and THIS is what i want to hear". Then I realised this is an "old" song from them. I hope they can make things like this in the new formation.
So many hits this band has had.......Its almost like they are too good and people become numb with the creativity
First time I ever saw someone play the electric guitar in front of me was to this song. One of my favs to the day 23 years later. 😊
Absolutely love this song.
2:13-2:23 Damn that Pure 90's feeling
One of my favorite songs ever, it makes me feel really inspired! I got warm machine tattooed across my upper back in rainbow colors. :)
Hell yeah!!
This is my favorite song by them
Guitardude4521 me too!
me too, with spacetravel.

BUSH AND SILVER CHAIR , GOOD TIMES !!!!!!
I memorize the basics🗣🗣
One of my favorite Bush songs...and they have so many good ones
Gavin Rossdale, besides being a tremendous singer, also acted in the film Constantine, this guy is amazing! Sou um grande fã!
Underated song!!! This is masterpeace!!!❤❤❤🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
I knew about this but I never seen it, since MTV didn't show music anymore back whern this cd came out.
1999
Damn I absolutely love this song and how the girl @ 1:06 is feeling it, great shot!
Damn that opening guitar riff and riff throughout the song is fucking brilliant
Anyone remember MTV “Jailbait” movie where the narrator says something like “It called for my very own musical montage” and it jumps right into this song?
this was my 1st show I went to with out my Mom, I was 14 at Bayfront Park Amphitheater, Miami, 12/18/99
Another alternative song I listen to when I am traveling down the interstate highway when I am driving to Texas.
I’ve been listening to this song on TH-cam for years, and for whatever reason I looked further and found this video version. It’s incredible what you can find-see-do-etc...if you just look a little further
I was there 1999 Nutcracker Ball. Gavin was wearing Royal Elastics dark blue shoes. Had the look of the devil in his eyes and played a hell of a show. 😂😎
this was my 1st show I went to with out my Mom, I was 14

Whats this song about? My favorite line My days are playful, Im making great faces but we will not let it through the darkness
This song takes me back.
This riff fn Kinged me
I just discovered this track! It's been on repeat for days now. Fuck! What else am I missing?
Same!
Check out Future by Paramore, it’s unlike their other music, the second half of the song is what I’m talking about
Also Bush “Cold Contagious”
Obsessed 😘
Love this song ❤️
I memorize the basics
Making strange faces
Treading slowly for I know
There's a thousand miles to go
Without blinking
I gravitate spacewards
Find a home for my head
From my basement
No darkness ever left
This is the night
This is the sound
Here comes the warm machine
Such a warm machine
Pretty warm
Some days are playful
Making play faces
But we will not let it through
The darkness and the sense
Of being born to loose
This is the life
This is the sound
Here comes the warm machine
Such a warm machine
This is the life
This is the ground
Here comes the warm machine
Such a warm machine
If we never know we can only
Feel
I'll take the help
I'll take a slice
Warm alright, now
Cause I feel alright
I memorize the basics, basics, basics
This is the night
This is the sound
Here comes the warm machine
Such a warm machine
Such a warm machine
Such a warm machine
Machine, machine, machine
*Treading slowly for I know

Me as well motivation song in it's own way in my head
of all the bands that media called 'Nirvana clones', I love Bush
🖤🖤
the one good bush song
This remains my favorite Bush song. It’s so frustrating to me that it was so overlooked by the fans and band (they never play it live….I had to skip their recent “Live In Tampa” CD/DVD because this song was not played). They won’t even upload it it on their Facebook page. If you gave me 5 more lifetimes I would still be unable to explain why “Swallowed” ended up being such a bigger song (I blame the record label for screwing up this single). “Warm Machine” should have been every bit as popular as “The Chemicals Between Us”.
I prefer this song over Chemicals. Heck even Prizefighter and Spacetravel are better songs than Chemicals
I don’t disagree with you. Also really like “Mindchanger”. I think TSOT overall is a highly underrated album. The only song I can’t listen to is “English Fire”. Everything else is great!
Your mine
They played it spectacularly at Woodstock
@@jessicamitt7166 I wish that entire Woodstock concert could be released on a DVD/CD set. They only include certain songs on the DVDs I have seen. Apart from “Cold Contagious” missing, it was the perfect setlist!
17yo me doing whatever I could just to be on that stage during that very concert night.
❤
Grunge not is dead!
Thanks Bush! God bless you guys!
Always thought he said. War machine 🤣

Not a bad song, but it really reminds me of Bone Machine by Pixies
search warm machine...
Anybody got a theory about the meaning of the song?
Who knows
yes, death. mortality. memento mori, carpe diem. etc
@@thedhev well I did ask. And you responded. So word. Thanks
Prediction: Remix coming soon with some lethargic female vocals and down tempo'ed beats. Perfect for a film trailer.
Making strange faces...
Wait...is that actually Gavin playing the solo? Because both the solo and the other guitar part playing at the same time seem a bit to advanced for Gavin’s skill level. Don’t they?
But he has to be playing one or the other, unless they play it differently live. 🤔
This is dissonance at its best!!
