Lyrics:
I bleach the sky
every night
loaded on wrong
and further from right
spinning around
two howling moons
cos there always there
whatever I do
the river is loaded
I've been there today
tool it some questions
she does me again
I'd die in your arms
if you were dead too
here comes a lie
we will always be true
God tier, what a complete band, they really captured the 90’s alternative era.
We’re a new Grunge band bringing back that big early 90’s sound, check us out
Not exactly punks evulotion from rock band
They ARE the 90s era lol

It's okay, you can be wrong.
Bush does NOT get enough recognition. This entire album AND Razorblade Suitcase are masterpieces. Literally the English version of Nirvana. Whenever I ask best bands of the 90s nobody ever mentions Bush but comedown and glycerine stayed on the radio.
English version of Nirvana - that's a good summary. I think that the whole era was just so packed with solid grunge (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, STP, Soundgarden etc.) that a lot of good bands got lost in the proverbial shuffle.
Right and similarly, canned dog food is the dog version of a steak dinner from an upscale restaurant and similarly, one is far superior to the other.
I hear this song on the Radio still too :)
How did they not. Howard Stern was huge in the 90s and constantly raved about them being his favorite band.
It seemed Sixteen Stone was a hit or even a blast. Swallowed debuted well, Greedy Fly did moderately so and I'm not sure the other three songs off of Razorblade Suitcase really made their marks. Then Bush's next 2 Cd's each had about 1 hit as best recalled, that got some recognition. Eah, huh what happened.... At least Razorback Suitcase seemed like another good replacement for Sixteen Stone.
Just saw him live for the third time Saturday night. Still kicking ass My wife and I bought the vip tickets to meet him and the band. All are awesome guys. Keep on rocking Gavin!!!
❤
Nice!
He's really nice. I met him on the street one time. Dude just chilled with me and talked.
I went to a concert in the 90s in MI. one of the best I've been to. Still love the music in 2024.
I must admit, their music has gotten better with age. I was all late 60s acid rock. I can appreciate Bush now more than I ever did. I’m 54 yrs old.

@@recreatorbandGrunge sucks.
The guttural husky scream at the end with the guitar and drums thrash accompanying it is what musical dreams are made of!
Totally. It's beautiful yet sick and twisted at the same time. A musical dream and a rock and roll nightmare!
First concert I ever went to was to see Bush, I was 13 years old. I’ll never forget it as long as I live. This music will never die with me.
Saw them at Reunion Arena for Edge X-Mas 1999. Blink 182, Powerman 5000, Bowling For Soup, and they were the headliner. They closed with this song and before he starts in with “I touch your mouth..” he threw his guitar into the stands and jumped into the crowd. The band kept repeating the guitar riff until he got back on stage, ran to the back to grab a new guitar, ran back out and jumped into the air and as soon as he landed, “I TOUCH YOUR MOUTH….!!!!”
Blew the fucking roof off. I’m getting goose bumps thinking about it. Still the best band I’ve ever seen live.
só deus pode jultar
They were and still are poor 🤮 hilarious as they did nothing in the uk, his guitar playing too is very teenager
Gavin always gives 10000000% he ran thru the entire audience, singing, not missing a beat or being out of breath (like vince neil who gets winded after 3 words lol)
@@ashhammond5652Haters like u will always hate. 🤣💯
British band you're welcome in our country anytime 😮😮😮
the 90's were such a magical time
perhaps you were trying all those research chemicals..
btw, i was there too
Jesus Christ is Lord and he gifted us with music
@@jesuschristislordoflordsan427 I was also there.
Indeed they were. I am grateful that I spent my teen years in this time period.
The only true musical era for me
Many of Gavins songs had verses that deeply touched me in my teens. This was so exhilarating in my teens. Like poetry turned to music.
RACHEL BERNET YOU ARE 💯 PERCENT RIGHT WHEN HE CAME FROM BRITAIN HE STARTED NEW YORK CITY CBGB'S QUESS WHO WAS THERE
REALL SWEET MAN OMG AMAZING BRAVO 👏 THANKS JERSEY CITY HEIGHTS LORETTA WOW PEACE ✌️ OUT LORETTA ✌️
Yes, like Glycerin
Is he talking about drugs
@@NatronFatumallafalla in this one, yeah. It's about amphetamine abuse and the empty life it leads to.
most underrated Bush song, this one never gets old and to this day makes we want to slam the volume up to 11 and thrash around like an angry teenager whenever I hear it, fuck yes ❤
This is their best song, my fav!!! Feb 14th, they actually closed with it!!! It was AWESOMEEEE
Well said dude
Wanna hear some New Grunge? Check us out
Still one of, if not THE, best post-grunge band!
💯💯💯❤️
This and machinehead are my skateboarding songs. Awesome riffs and vocals. Love it. Memory lanes for me.
Skateboarding is ghey, it’s pure grunge..
Try speed kills too
@@VictorLugosi 😂
I LOVE Machinehead!!! Been obsessed w that song for 25 years! (Damn...how did I get old?) lol
Bro… I tell the same thing to my girl and she just doesn’t get it 🤦🏽♂️
This song is a fucking masterpiece. Amazing.
totally agree!!!
My dad always used to play this song in his car when i was a kid. This was always my favorite song as a kid and still love it to this day.
My Momma is 66 and still in love with Gavin. She turned her grandson into a fan. He is now 12 and plays the drums. Guitar Hero got him started...playing Bush for his Grandma.
Good man ,for sure

I remember old people talking about how the music twenty years ago was better. I am now this old people.
feels like just yesterday this song was fresh on the radio, still give me goosebumps to this day.
No music beats the music that comes from the 90s. Lord thank you for letting me experience that era
What a firecracker album from '94 was 16stone!
That splashy hi-hat then drum roll at the beginning is how most of us were introduced to Bush
This whole album was good. A worthy CD purchase in it's day.
My mom gave me sixteen stone on CD, still listening to it at 25 years old.
Haha totally. Sigh, the good ol days
going to buy a new cd in the 90's then listening to it in your bedroom was the most therapeutic shit ever
You mean cassette
Then with music in general, it was one decent song and the rest filler.
The ability to purchase just the song you wanted was a nice change if you wanted to make sure the artist was compensated for the download. Until then I would download illegal because I didn't think it was worth spending 15-20$ on one song.
Crazy that I took bands and music from the 90s for granted. When I revisit them now it sounds sooo good
It's easy to take things for granted, back then we had no idea that music today would be so shitty..
@@takenoprisoners837 you're probably right
It was a golden age we didn’t even realise we were in!

This group will never go out of style.....underrated song! The 90's Alternative Rock is the best decade of music.....yep.

This and Machine Head were my jams for like 15 years straight... I still listen to those 2..
Alternative rock is the best rock
The bridge of this song and that slow build of it.
Yes very good.
Post grunge alternative 👌
Yep. 💚🎶💚🎶💚
Debatable but kinda true
God, I miss the 90's!!!
faethie zutell
faethie zutell me too!!!!!
faethie zutell ry
Same..
IKR, now all we have is lame pop music, it sucks.
2021 and still takes me back, wish they still made this sound in today's music.
Check out HAWK. “Universes” and “Alibi” have a very Bush feel.
They have a newer album in 2020, pretty awesome.
They do man, you just aren’t looking hard enough to find it. You do know that music exists outside of radio, right??! Try exploring those artists and you’ll see there’s still lots of authentic, amazing music out there
@@christophersanzo1833 I think he means it was just better when this stuff was in the mainstream, and I completely agree.
Bush was pretty generic for its day, plenty of generic music around today still.
One of my all time favorite songs
April G u are the sexiest woman I've ever laid eyes on hunni
bigchris69420. Thanks!
I agree great singer and guitar I remember in the 90s
U have good taste... For sure
They were so popular back in the day, should have WAY more views. People have short memories, I guess.
yeah really
My thoughts exactly. So many great hits.
Still love this group and song I remember in90s when I was 26
I still have the trauma records versions of their 1st and 2nd albums. The others weren't as good, so they kinda faded out. Letting Gwen sing was a huge mistake.
Rock is dead in the mainstream
That line" the little things that kill" is so damn true !!!!
Damn, I feel old but proud of my generations music!
Jenn B. Me too
I agree, great singer and Guitar in 90s, I remember
Class of 95 here
Same here..
Grade 6 never gets old....give me a hell yea
Bush is one of those bands you start listening to because of one track, only to discover you like at least 4-5 other tracks by them...
They're def up there somewhere. Next to Linkin Park & some others, I see... For me anyways.
@ ok but so do you. So your opinion is invalid. Yw
4-5? More like all
I only listened to glycerine for a while then I heard machine head then I finally listened to the whole album and loved it
Totallly true! Only knew of Zen and Glycerine but the others are like unearthing gems!
Such a damn good band and album. ❤
Bush was an Awesome Band... I am 66 yrs old...smoke a phatt blunt. 😇😇😇 and rock out to Bush daily... This is my favorite
💚🎶💚🎶💚
Hope you're still rockin at 70 Sir!!!!
Woohoo keep rocking and smokin!!
I love these lyrics, all of the lyrics to all their songs are so ensightful and mean something. Enlightening and even dark and decadent.
Good music can alway be self interpreted by anyone who actually listens
Unbelievable this was their first album. Gavin is one of those guys who just found his calling and let loose. Thank you God for creating a creator like Gavin.
Cuz he was banggin Courtney love.
@@kaliboosebaydoun7494Who cares why? He is awesome. We can forgive him for Courtney
Bush was awesome in the 90's and they're still awesome here in 2023. I wish music like this would make a come back. I feel like the 90's was the last great decade for music.

I agree!!
This album is definitely in my top 10 90s albums
Bush will always have a special spot in my heart I was able to see them live and since then inspired to play guitar and holy shit Gavin is a god!! It sounds simple but his style of grunge is definitely not simple this song im starting to pick up but others forget it!! Him and nirvana are seriously the gods of grunge
2:15 in the morning and the 90's music rabbit hole got me again...... and I regret nothing.
1:30 here and I'm a teen all over again. Except no TH-cam then. Just good old MTV.
Sixteen stone!! One of the greatest EVER!
Saw them live on Aug 26, 2024 in Charlotte NC with Candlebox and Jerry Cantrell.
Amazing show!
Bush was one of the best acts i have seen
My favorite Bush track for sure. Great lyrics.
yeah the cupboard is bare we really need food again reminds of a few times in my life the little things in life that piss youoff

+Ricky Decoteau screw u dude I listen to stuff like this all the time an I'm only sixteen years, the music is older than me
+Mike Hegarty I don't know about it being the last time. Every other decade, it seems, a new movement comes around that restores the backbone of Rock into the music and calls it something brand new.
I always loved their music but never really listened enough to get the content of the songs. Now I appreciate how good they really are.
I will never get tired of this song, takes me back to Jr. High. Sixteen Stone album rock!!
I’ve heard this song a million times but today while driving around it came on the radio and I have a new found appreciation for this song and band. Weird how music works
I love his voice! I never knew what they sang until Gavin's Love Remains the Same. I don't remember their songs from the 90s, but happily, I have discovered Bush.
Part of my soundtrack of the 90's

@Eddie The Head Damn your good.
Can't get this song out of my head. Gavin is great singer
Man this song bringing me back to when I was a teenager. I still remember when this album came out.
One of my favorites from Bush.
Rossdale one of the best I repeat best vocalists in Alternative Rock.
That guitar solo towards the end.

Seeing them in August in Atlantic City for the umpteenth time...never gets old, they always kick ass. ❤
This song's been getting me through some rough times these days! Saw em live June 2019. Heard this song live ! Bush is an amazing band ! Thank you guys for helping me through tough times and I hope others have the same comfort in your music as I do. Can't wait for the world to be back to "normal" yall stay safe !
come tomorrow night ill be hearing yall again! lets go baby !
How I miss the 80’s and 90’s. Those were some great twenty years. I wonder what would it take to bring good music back into this world.
Whenever I hear this song it literally brings me directly back to summer 1994, and the campground in the White Mountains in NH where my family basically spent every summer of my childhood at, and I can literally smell the campfires burning and the old musty log cabin smell of the game room/main lodge, and i can hear this song on the old jukebox the place used to have. It's like im there everytime. Some of the best times of my life.
interesting.
This is real rock music!
I agree, great singer and guitar in90s I remember
straight from hell! yeah! lock that door, heavenly father in jesus name!
Don't forget Michael Hutchence and Inxs
16 stones, one of the most amazing albums I ever heard.
16 Stone - not stones. Stone is an old unit of weight equaling about 102 kg / 225 lbs. According to Gavin: _"Once upon a time there was a lonely man...my friend, who called a phone number advertising a '21 year Scandinavian beauty, new in town.' When she arrived, she was forty years old and sixteen stone...but he managed to get through it."_
There are so many of there songs I like and never new the name of the band. My husband son ask if I wanted to go I told him yes then after listening to the band I said I love there song so going tomorrow in Cincinnati at the Hard Rock. Party night😊
This song hits hard when you can relate. Sometimes the little things really can kill. If you let em.
Holy shit lol I was going through the comments and I didn't expect to see you here (this is wall.of.nirvana)
Masterpiece ❤
Love this effin song!
Whole album rocks!!
The 90s / early 2000s were really awesome indeed

15 year old from the uk likes bush XD
I still have Sixteen Stone on CD from twenty-five years ago. Bush was one of the best bands to come out of the 90s.
This album was everything..😩🔥
Today's music will NEVER be as iconic as this music was. Not with the advancement of modern technology. It will continue overcoming everything until there's nothing left of our planet
They were like first wave of '90's Brit bands!❤
When I were bike messenger in Chicago I played this song I am African American
This was my brothers fav band brings back so many good memories !!! Rip Jeff
My 17 year old nephew is into Grunge music now.. I never got out of my grunge phase, and I'm a man, I'm 40! 😆

But best at forget

I agree great I remember in90s when I was 26
I’ve seen Bush in concert twice. They were great. If you never seen Bush in concert you don’t know what your missing. Just go.
Still one of my fav bands and this song never gets old
Gonna go see them in concert in September...one of my favorite bands from the 90's..🤘❤🤘❤
It’s easy to forget how absolutely huge this album was! There were a good 4 or more singles from it and they were all #1 hits. You couldn’t escape Bush if you tried back then! Man has music changed... fml.
This guy has an amazing voice.
Still gives me goosebumps!!! Hell yeah
This is the one song know by heart. Recite it on command. That's scary 😊
THE 90S WERE SUCH A GREAT TIME!! THE THINGS YOU COULD DO AND GET AWAY WITH
such an underrated band.. Gavin so bad ass

absolutely sixteen stone, i've bought that c.d over and over cause everyone kept barrowing it , listened to it through and through and over and over
serious man crush when i was 16....still love this album deffo top 10 for me
thank yawl, yeah and on medical weed wow even fucking better, and poo bunny i am referring to staying big over time/houehold name, like Linkin Park until the tragic fucking loss, Chester, but Mike has got that, some real hard shit or AC/DC..your info is not true it depends all on which website you go to, diff ones say different shit for example one has top selling 90z band as Nirvana, Kid Rock then Matchbox20..don't matter to me because I will never the hell get how Nirvana became such a big household name over the great Layne Fucking staley from Alice in Chains and Mad season! Epic perfect vocalist...sang with pure raw emotion and pain! Another gone way too soon
Susan Wiggins - Simpson they still got stuff comeing out
Visited their live show for the first time on August 2024 in Toronto. It was great! Still a lot of energy!
