With 40% crit chance, has a 2.8% chance to not crit a single time out of 7 attacks. However, crit chance in league is not static, your crit chance slightly increases for every non crit you do, and sinks for every crit you do (assuming you aren’t sitting at either 0% or 100%) this is to balance out the randomness a bit and make it even more unlikely for such things to happen.

BotRK is such a problem item. Pciture this. You're a bruiser with 4 defensive items. You are level 18 and have 130 AD, 1 attack speed. You build Blade. Now you have 12% current health damage, let's average that to 5% of a champ's max health per auto. Minimum against another champ that's level 18, you now have your damage roughly doubled from just the on hit damage of the passive alone. You haven't even accounted for the AD, attack speed, or 3 hit damage + slow. It's also a catch up mechanic because the further ahead an enemy is, the more health they have, meaning the more damage you will do. Blade of the Ruined King is like buying 100% crit chance plus extra stats and an on hit slow + damage proc. Now you know why Jax seems fucking broken. He builds an item that basically works out to dealing 3 items worth of damage.
Jax has a really similar game design to Katarina. No skillshots just jump at you and statcheck-oneshot you with no kite possibility. Blame the Riot champion designers that have sibling parents

The picking system you mention is in Dota 2 and it works pretty well in High elo a lot of top players dont want each other on the same teams so usually both sides get players people hate , you also get a lot of people screaming not to pick them

I think what makes Jax so damn broken and so elo-inflated is the fact that the damage on his abilities are now more mixed, his E which is so op, considering its low CD and also has CC, I personally think that it should be on like a Nilah W or Samira W cd, cuz Jax doesnt take damage, I tell you its literally impossible to damage jax when he has his E. While Nilah, Samira still get damaged. Its just so so damn broken, more so when you add in Sunderer and he gets more lifesteal. I dont think ppl even want to realize that you could almost build anything on jax, and youll still be useful.

Sword of the Occult, it was removed for a reason. AD is inherently stronger than AP because of how the game is designed.
