R/B/Y is like the peak of nostalgia for me. They got me into pokemon in the first place and I love to go back and play them. BUT and this is a big 🍑 lol the Pokemon team didn't have the pace balanced for the game or walk speed for that matter. Without mods I wouldn't have the patience to get through the first part of the game. It's way too slow paced. As a child I somehow made it through the slow beginning but as an adult... I don't have time for that! Turn that walking speed up! 😆 (Oops... Reposting this. Was on the wrong account 😂)
