They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

Actually the name of the rank has to be a material that is less expensive than iron. Aluminium is more expensive. Actually, according to google iron is the least expensive metal/alloy. Consequently, the name would be not metallic. Wood is cheaper, but it is natural and is associated with good things. Plastic is a better option imo. It is cheap and a lot of trash is plastic. Plastic suites here very well.

a decent amount of people are passable, probably moving onto bronze without much trouble, but there are a lot of players who simply can't do anything, ADSing in close range like they're playing COD and missing
i won 3/5 of my first placement matches ever and i got landed iron 3 and im still stuck here

No matter how good you are, a 1v5 is never going to be easy
Same , this was like after 6 months of playing valorant. and i decided to get a rank because i was bored , i got placed in bronze 2 or bronze 1.
When i came back after like a week , i started to really grind and people told me that my MMR is too low and i deserve to be in a higher rank or elo.
Now im currently Silver 1 , fighting Golds and Plats while also getting carried.

as a player who was hardstuck iron for awhile when i first started playing, the iron lobbies are so much more fun and wholesome! Where the only strats are "Rush B,Rush A" lol, im only gold now but everyone thinks they are pros when we are below average lol

Thank you! Well, I did played cs go, and got to GE and up to lvl 7 faceit. After I quit that game and started Valorant since it appeared. But the truth is that I have been on and off not a serious player. Multiple external factors such as school and now work keep me away from it

I always find these videos funny because they are usually made by gold or low plats who think they are good but to anyone in an actually decent elo, you are indistinguishable from the iron players who just downloaded the game.
