I just want to say I really love and appreciate your videos like these. They have often been of great help for me. Thank you for making them and I don't mean just for the 300 Rally!
I have a Zeta Trigger brake pedal made for the 250L fitted to my 300 Rally and everything seemed to fit perfectly. The barrel length appeared correct. It operates smoothly. The only thing I had to adjust was the brake light switch which was just a few turns of the threaded adjuster on it. Others on the Facebook group said it didn't fit, yet there are several like me who seemed to install them without issue.
Hi Aaron, I've seen some of the posts where it was confirmed that they fit, but there's normally a follow up asking for a part number and then no response. I haven't tried the Zeta Trigger, only the AS3 brake pedal for the 250L, and that doesn't fit the 300. This doesn't seem to make sense as you'd think they would be all the same. Though I've come across more who had a 250 one that didn't fit than those that had one that did. You are one of the lucky few!
I bent mine over the top of my foot peg. I was grateful to be able to bend it back and keep riding. I hadn’t thought about the aftermarket ones breaking completely 😮
I’ll see if I can break it! So far so good, and I’m off to the ABR Festival next week, so will give it a workout on the adventure trail and will see if it survives.
Thanks for another interesting how-to episode. I’m more interested in those wide foot pegs you have. After a little more than a year with my Rally, I have only had it on a dirt road one time. There are a few off-road riding tracks near here I intend to get it out on soon. I hope all is well over your way. Happy Trails
Hi Allen, I think I did a video about the pegs last year. They are Zeta and seem to work quite well. I’m currently at the ABR Festival, 10k adventure motorcycling fans with their bikes for a long weekend in the English countryside. So far so good!
Im disappointed that the actual pedal is smaller than the stock. I would seem that because of boots that would need to be larger. have you seen any issues with the smaller size of the pedal? Love the channel and content you provide. quality.
Hi Jim, not so far. I guess it’s a trade off of likelihood to catch on something vs size. I’ve not had any problems so far, but haven’t ridden it much. I’ll get some proper trail miles on it at the ABR festival next week so will see then.
Hi Andre! I was about to purchase one of the brake pedals from your store, but at checkout I was informed shipping was not available to my address, which is in the United States. Is that really the case? Thanks!
Hi George, I’m still sort of getting set up and hadn’t got as far as working out how to export. Most things I bring in from Thailand so in many cases it’s easier for folks outside the UK to get them directly from there. If it isn’t, drop me a note to store@peakmotorcycles.com and we can sort something out.
Hi, not sure what to suggest I’m afraid. Is there only one hole for the spring to fit into? If so, anything else different? As you can see, it worked on mine…
Hi Charlie, Yes, I'll be there from Thursday (I booked the early bird posh bit when it was still a little cheaper) to Sunday. I'll either be riding my CRF300 or it'll be on the Enduristan stand on display if I'm off riding something else or having a pint. I'll see you there!
hi, I took some photos of a very nicely done CRF 300 rally on ABR this year. Looking at stickers I have just realized it is your bike! :-D Thank you very much for such a good quality of details. So far I followed your instructions for Outback Pannier Racks and used your tip to cut off the battery frame - brilliant shortcut and saver of time!
Hi, None that I've noticed, even up to 100kmh+ I've done a few long rides that have included longer on-road stints 1h+ and haven't noticed, so I think it's fine.
@@janco171 I know. Stupid Brexit and me not being able to work out international shipping on Shopify. If you can’t get one elsewhere let me know. I’m sure I can make an exception 😉. Email me at store@peakmotorcycles.com if that might help.

@@PeakMotorcycles The part number I have for the Trigger is ZE90-7022.
@@aaronbehindbars thanks. I’ll see if I can find one to compare!
How's the length of the Zeta Trigger compared to stock?
@@ezsteel78 slightly longer, but there is some
adjustment on it, so you can move it back to be the same as stock.

The stock ones are good for bending back, but there’s only so many times that’ll work.
Doesn’t look to shabby! Nice work Andre.

Mmmm nice, I'll get one of them. Thanks for the video.
I'll try mine. If I break it on a rock I'll be back to the steel ones even though they are not as pretty.

Hello . I install zeta brake pedal but the spring is too long . When i press brake pedal its not going up to standart position .

Yes only one hole . Probably have to buy shorter spring... :(
will you and the 300 be at Ragley hall? I'd love to see the bike and mods in the flesh so to speak. my 300 is due in July.

Should the spring that pulls the lever up be super tight or is there abit of play and wiggle in it stock standard?
I can't remember to be honest, but I'm away at the moment and can check when I get home.
Hi, sorry if I asked it before how are vibrations in the footpegs at speed (70kmh+)? Thanks!
