I love how this guy is so raw! So many tech reviewers are filled with paid promotions and fancy b roll, while this channel is simply showing the raw impressions of the products! Great job and love the content.
These work great on my monitor console set up. The V3 ones with the bluetooth kept disconnecting. But you don't get connected with these ones so definitely the go to for similar gaming setup. .
these speakers need 5V 2A power, and you plugged them into a macbook usb! USB-2.0 is 5V-0.5A, and for USB-3.0 it is 5V-0.9A And you didn't say about gain, did you put it on hi?
Agreed, it seems mac users tend to fall short on the far ends of tech spectrum, either they seem to know their stuff or they don't... in this case we have a reviewer who doesn't know gear, what makes good gear, nor how to get the most of the gear. Even through the video recording process you can hear how thin the sound was due to the sub being starved because he choked it out by limiting it's power intake due to the limitation of the usb port's output. He needs to get a power brick from phone that's rated at least 2A (there are also 2.4A powered ones as well) as you said so it gets at least 10 watts vs the 2.5 watts he fed it. My advice to people is avoid usb power speakers if they intend to power it from the port of their laptop.
@@sputtnikchannel9026 If you're referring to use the 3.5mm aux of course and you can adjust the volume from the speaker and then adjust it from the user interface of your computer (if your keyboard has shortcuts, click adj icon, etc).
I'm still using my SBS380 for about 15 years, I bought them around 2008, which aged great, but now they are a little bit damaged and having some trouble with connection. Are pebble plus a good replacement for 2.1 system, which is the best option for me, to stay longer with creative company?
@@uk2727 I finally got this pebble model, because my wife did like design more than audio, but old good SBS sound quality is 100 times better. Someday I will switch them again, now they have to wait at the attic for better times.
You can feel your desk shake. It's nothing insane they're low wattage so keep your expectations realistic. If you use a fast charger so they can take more power, the bass is much better.
Are the cords permanently attached or can they be detached and replaced for example? I want to run the cables through a hole in my desk and I am not sure that subwoofer can fit...
Do you think these would be good to use with an Apple TV in a college dorm room? The built in speakers on the TV I have are quite terrible, so I’m hoping that these will be an improvement.
@ritsukafujimaru9162 they're good really impressed for something so damn small. And the bass that tiny base pumps isn't to bad either. I'm not truely sure if it's louder or just as loud as a let's say 50 dollar surround sound but I would say buy it if u don't like it send it back no questions asked through Amazon. I don't use it for a main tv in the living room I use it for my monitor in my room that doesn't have speakers so these come in handy bigtime for gaming on it or watching something there if I didn't wanna be on the big screen in my living room
But I am a little bit conflicted when it comes to the power of the respective models. The pros are rated at 30w rms (with usb pd) , and the plus are rated at 8w rms Where does the extra power in the pros go? Since the plus supposedly has better bass Also I would assume that the plus version has better clarity in the mids and highs because they have a separate high pass filter and driver, instead of cramming everything into one driver like the pro Sorry for the lengthy questions, but I really tried to find a proper comparison between these two to no avail, because I'm trying to get one of them as soon as possible, and their price are about similar where I'm from.
Getting Bose Companion series or Klipsch thx 2.1 system is such a better idea. The subwoofer on either of those systems is extraordinarily more capable. Both sell for pennies on the used market. I do like the pebble speakers but that bass unit is not good.
I'm an audiophile and I take speakers and sound very seriously lmaoo and when you said you're not an audiophile I immediately said oh wow ok ..... You were really pissing me off hahahahaha not in a bad way bro hahaha all love I turned it off after that and typing this. Hope you like em! Why am I watching this I was laughing at how small the sub was and I was like it's a sub it has to have more airspace to sound good it's no way with that little power and no airspace I forgot the law but if you either need a ton of power for that tiny size or if you keep that power you need a HUGE box and that still won't really do THAT sub much and then I saw tech in your name and thought to click it idk lmaooo I'm weird
i had the pebble v1, v2 und plus and the plus are the worst speaker ive ever had. the bass is sometimes not there and when its there its too loud and moody
I might still have my 20 year old altec lansings, and maybe I shouldn't have just bought these, but dang it the power cord to the subwoofer was janky and I'd have to visit my folks to dig em out.
The camera was autofocused on you instead of the product. I could not even see if that product has Bluetooth connectivity. Focus should be on the product, it is what we want to buy.

Thank you Elijah. I might change my channel name to Raw Unboxing 😬
That would be great if you do change the channels name to RAW unboxing 😅
thanks for your honesty. looking forward to getting myself one soon
Thanks Bro, went and ordered one to replace some very old and well used Logitechs from like 15 years ago. Should do the job.
I know how good creative was back in 2013 when I bought them, I am going to purchase one now
Me too, literally minutes from leaving the house to buy em
Bro subscribed because you don’t do a bunch of extra stuff and yappin lol thank you for the quick concise video
Thanks for the sub!
Cool review looking to see more i just grabbed these because of you thanks
Glad I could help
How good are they?
So, are these good? I am planning to buy them.
is there a way to volume up the subwoofer ?
Thank you for actually showing the unboxing. I couldn't figure out how to get my Pebble speakers back into the box.
🤣
Bros returning em lol, ive returned 2 of their speakers to upgrade, returned v1 and pro
Just get edifier r1280 or r1700bt if ur budget allows, oh also mr4
Perfect review. Been looking for speakers for my old amazon echo that i can use for spotify music. This is perfect for my need. Thanks! 👍👍
The cord is to separate the satellites as far away as possible for the best stereo effect. The longer the better. 😍

@uk2727 no, definitely model SBS 380.

Do the sounds from the subwoofer vibrate your chest? If so to what degree and distance? And does it shake more the higher the volume goes up?
...It does shake the table.

Still rocking the Creative SLAM T3. Sadly the volume control isn't in the best state anymore.
can replace with a potentiometer easily
Hi bro. Watching from Venezuela. Pebble v2 version and V3 got same sound quality? Or only change the bluetooth??
I dont know how i forgot these legendary speakers.. ❤️
Are the cords permanently attached or can they be detached and replaced for example?
I want to run the cables through a hole in my desk and I am not sure that subwoofer can fit...
Yes that is right
How is it compare to old creative sbs A300 ? And the pebble plus have bass control knob??

I think it would be good for a small tight setup, like a desk. But if you have a TV on a wall, I can't imagine this would be any louder.
if you didnt buy any yet even just the little pebble pods without the sub are pretty decent speakers especially for the price
Song(melody) name please

Looking at this or the new peeble pro. Is no sub a deal breaker you think?
I was thinking of picking the Pro up as well to see., but I really wanted a white speakers to match my setup 😄
I'm curious between both of those as well. Did you get the Pro? How is it?
can someone tell me the music name please
i really need the music tittle..
No words about sound quality. Just "its loud" doent say anything to me.
Can I use normal plug for power or is it have to be only through the laptop?
Yup
So if u put the gain to Max it'll sound louder? I just ordered one off Amazon today
How are the speakers? Will they be good for watching movies without needing a more powerful subwoofer?
@ritsukafujimaru9162 they're good really impressed for something so damn small. And the bass that tiny base pumps isn't to bad either. Pro tip. use a faster charger, like the 15w charger from Samsung, and the sound is noticably better when at max volume.

PLUS, because it has a standalone bass Module.

How long did it last? Like years
