Good afternoon, I recently installed cruise control on my 2021 Isuzu D-Max 1.9L standard model and I need a device that can program or activate it. I've tried using an OBD2 ELM327 WiFi and ELM327 HS LS USB for scanning, but they can't seem to recognize my Isuzu D-Max. Now I'm considering purchasing a dedicated device or using the TOAD program or should I buy IDSS . Could you please recommend the best option? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Tell me what do you think
@@motoringmasters it is like the organel cruise control that came from isuzu on the steering wheel and i conected to the organel conecter from isuzu For now it light up but does not work what i understand that i need to program it or active it but i could not find software for that perpuse special for Isuzu. Feel free to ask for more details. 😊
I’d generally recommend going with Stage 1 or Stage 2 tuning if you’re an everyday enthusiast looking for a bit more power and responsiveness without going too extreme. Stage 3 is usually reserved for track enthusiasts or those who want maximum performance and are ready for extensive modifications. and it is more likely to cause warning lights and might affect the reliability of your vehicle if not carefully managed.
Does anyone have a solution to unlock ..cloning or remap ECU for mazda cx30 skyactiveD year 2020 ecu denso s805 18881, mb275700-9552, 12V KE124D MADE IN SPAIN...THANKS FOR ANY INFORMATION
Yes, you can typically do a Stage 1 tune on your 2010 Honda Accord 2.0, provided the car and engine are in good condition. Always remember to keep safety and reliability in mind.
I had my low mileage 2007 44000 mile Ranger Rover sport remapped and it improved my mpg by 12 mpg. Only to find that it made that my insurance was now null and void. Had to change it back and prove that was effectively resorted to manufacturers specifications. If you are in an accident where someone is injured or killed they will plug into your ecu, even you revert it the car back to the original specifications before they inspect it, they will know the specification of the car when you had an accident. How do get around that?
It sounds like you've encountered an issue that many car enthusiasts face when it comes to remapping their vehicles. Modifying a vehicle's ECU through remapping can void the insurance policy if it's not disclosed to the insurer. Additionally, reverting the remap doesn't necessarily erase its history from the car's data logs, which investigators could still detect after an accident. Unfortunately, there isn’t a guaranteed way to "get around" this issue if you want to stay within the legal and ethical boundaries. The most straightforward and legally sound approach is to inform your insurance company about the remap. Some insurers may cover vehicles with modified ECUs, albeit with a potential increase in premiums. However, by disclosing the modification, you ensure your insurance remains valid.
@@motoringmasters Thanks, I don't believe the insurer would investigate unless it was really serious and you caused a fatal or serious injury by driving. If that happened then you could be bankrupted, maybe even lose your house. Your right the best way to approach this, is ask the insurance company prior to the remap
Should I study mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or automotive engineering to become a car tuner ( not only ecu ) i need a answer please
Dude, that's a tough choice! If you’re all about the nuts and bolts, go mechanical. If you wanna mess with wires and circuits, electrical is your jam. Automotive is like the sweet spot for car lovers, though! What’re you leaning towards?
