    I am finishing my first year of BTEC science and i found it really hard at the start not to mention lockdown which didn't help but after Christmas it started to become enjoyable and i ended up doing really well in the coursework (its super easy if you take notes in the subject and the teachers always help you if your stuck on what to write), i didn't have very good GCSEs and only just passed combined science, i had to retake maths in college too but this course is super worth it, the chemistry was the hardest out of all subjects for me, but the biology was really interesting, i definitely recommend it.

    Hello, is it true that you can become a nurse or a midwife with Btec applied science and btec health&care? I’ve always wanted to work in a hospital as a nurse or so and I just want to know if that would be able to help me. The university I want to go to allows btecs although I’m unsure if hospitals allow btec

    I got 2 questions. 1) What exam board is BTEC applied science and also I’ve always dreamt of becoming a pharmacist and my predicted grades where very high but and I was already revising A level bio and chem and I found them quite easy but my GCSE result was 6-5 in combined science and 6 in maths so I had to do BTEC. If I get a D* in BTEC science and A* in maths would that be fine to do medicine?

    • @btecappliedsciencehelp
      @btecappliedsciencehelp  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Milan
      The exam board is Pearson
      Very high A Level grades are needed to do Pharmacy and Medicine. (A*s and As) and all courses demand A level Chemistry.
      There are plenty of medical related courses you can do with good BTECs e.g. Nursing, Occupational Therapy etc..
      Do your own research on the UCAS site

      1. Have a chat with a biology teacher at your school/college
      2. Look on the entry requirements for medicine on university websites.
      If you find a medicine course that will take BTECs then please let me know.

      Look at their website to find out more.
