What is refraction? What does the refractive index of a material mean? What equations do we need to know? What is the critical angle? How do fibreoptic cables work?
BTEC Applied Science: White Blood Cells
มุมมอง 4K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is my second video on this topic, including a few bits I reckon I missed out. There have been a few past paper questions where it is clear that you will need to know quite a bit about white blood cells. I go through a few of these.
BTEC Applied Science: Unit 1 Intensity

Mostly GCSE revision about the terms we use to describe waves. Make sure you understand these or you will struggle with the other videos.
Where to Next?
มุมมอง 1.1K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
It would really help a lot of Applied Science students to know what subjects/grades they would need to do what they want to do next. If you've found my videos useful please let us know what your plans are in the comments. Best wishes Dave

cheers dude
Please upload unit 3 practice paper I have watched your previous ones
12:59 nice singing
I thought the speed of sound in air is 330m/s ?
you'll be given a value in the question
Hello, how come for the expected value you add both observed totals together instead of multiplying to find the estimated values?
My exams tomorrow and ik im cooked. Ill reply when i have my results

@user-hi9kj4eh1tsame man
Just did chem and physics today. Chem was not great however physics was pretty good!!
@@nika-hr3ow same bruh chem was terrible for me and physics was way easier especially that 6 marker analogue and digital
@@nika-hr3ow same bro just revising biology hoping for the best. Chem wasnt great either but im pretty confident for Physics
Is this all for unit 1?
is this playlist for all rhe calculations but dont we have a formula sheet in my
THANK YOU SO MUCH
cheers dude
Got 15 but Terrified This would be my first time doing chemistry exam in Uk and is absoultely different from my home country.Thank you for ur HELP
anyone notice how when he said further away, he went further from the mic. don't know if it was on purpose but ironic. 4:25
I don’t understand the aluminium and oxygen question. Can you break it down as easy as you can please
This is the way I think about it (there are other methods) Al3+ and O2- the common denominator is 6 so 2Al and 3O however O comes as O2 so we have to double the Al as well so ... 4Al and 3O2
Watching before EXAM
good luck
why is it sin minus one instead of just sin
Maths lesson: if sin(45) = 0.707 then sin^-1(0.707) = 45 Its the inverse function
ive got my exams on tuesday lol
same
hi, why do you do sin -1 at the end?
why is it sin minus 1
maths lesson if sin(45)=0.707 then sin^-1 (0.707) = 45 its the inverse function
thank you!! you've been such a big help as im revising for my exam which is in 3 days
thanks for the feedback and good luck
Legit found you and your saving me
Amazing video! Got my unit one exam soon and this really helped. Thanks
At 4:01, you say 1500c is 1227k, obviously a minor mistake. But just an observation for anyone currently watching. It always +273.
is this whole playlist whay I need to revise?
no
love the way you teach , this actually helped me
cheers dude
Hi do you know if we get the equations given in the exam or do we need to memorise ?
For the question near the end of the video: 'What is the frequency of the wave?' I understand why we get the number 40 from but why is it 40 x 10^-3?
F=1/T Where: - \( f \) is the frequency (in Hertz, Hz) - \( T \) is the period (in seconds, s) From the second question, the **periodic time \( T \)** of the wave is given as **40 milliseconds**. Since \( 1 \, \text{second} = 1000 \, \text{milliseconds} \): \[ T = 40 \, \text{ms} = 40 \times 10^{-3} \, \text{seconds} = 0.04 \, \text{seconds}. \] Now substitute \( T = 0.04 \) into the formula: \[ f = \frac{1}{T} = \frac{1}{0.04} = 25 \, \text{Hz}. \] So the frequency of the wave is **25 Hz**.
actually saved me for my unit 1 exam thanks
good luck next week
can you remove any duplicated topics on your playlists please because they get me confused
Can you reupload the link???

Hi, for unit 3, how many practicals are there in total? Thank you
Hi, How many practicals are there in total and what are they?
hi do we get given the equations in the paper or do we have to memorise all?
Could you please go through past papers with questions and the answerers to them, exams in January
your videos are very helpful man, this channel needs to be more famous
cheers dude, I agree
It’s too niche unfortunately
Thankyou for your videos they are very helpful!!
thanks for the feedback
