- Super Smash Bros. 64 ~ Tool-Assisted Speedrun.
This video isn't a Speedrun time wise. I tried to get a good highscore in this TAS.
I missed "Speedester (Finishing a battle in under 30 seconds) at Yoshi Team by 26 Frames. I had redone this fight like 5 times. Everytime with the same result.

Beat Classic mode with a score basically unachievable for humans, and then unlock Ness for good measure

Good job ! I have some questions/comments about this tas.
1- if you get hit in the board the platforms, do you lose the no damage clear bonus because you could get 200 more with one second faster.
2- for kirby btp after the 7th platform, it's faster to run off and drift left and fastfall instead of doing a short hop like you did. Maybe this could have save a second without touching the bumper but im not sure.
3- have you tried to get mew catcher for yoshi / kirby / polygon team. This could be 10 000 points every time minus no items bonus which is only 1000 points.
4- you know how in the bonuses stage you can pause to have 2 frames of movement without the in-game timer moving.... Do you think it would be possible to do this everywhere to get extra points for the time and even the speedster bonus on yoshi / polygon.
I understand that it would be boring as fuck, just asking as a theory. I calculated that it would give 48 150 points extra for the full run.
But if it's possible, tas could technically get infinite damage while getting all the time bonuses points.
This would be slow and boring but infinite score would be doable.

I also thought about something else. On polygon stage you should have waited for 3:33 remaining. It gives lucky 3, a 9990 points which is better than the 1300 points that you got for ending the stage early

@@km9103 well technically he could have done 3:33 frames saving him time but if he did he would have to be complete stupid and up-b for a few minutes or b: do the same thing with precise timing
@@vu5523 my ideas were purely to gain more points and although less entertaining, they do work. I just feel like he didn't took every single bonuses in mind

I REALLY wanna see that last zero filled. Is 10 million even hypothetically possible?
Technically yes but without the 5 minutes timer. You get 10 points per % inflicted and it can go beyond 999%. There's no reason a tas couldn't hurt a computer forever without dying and then the max score 99,999,999 could be achieved.
It would be extremely long, you'd need to inflict 10 000 000 % damage in total.
What was this recorded with? The quality is so high, even for VC, and I've never seen an emulator that can properly emulate the Stage Clear screen. Am I just behind on emulators?

The link doesn't work, but i can imagine what video this is. I can't make the cycle without hitting the bumper. And since i am not allowed to take damage for "No Damage Clear" i had to use an older route.

I think there is something wrong with the Kirby Team, it is not that easy for them to get ass kicked with the Kirby's special move.
