Wltoys 284131 is a 2.4GHz radio controlled pickup truck. This is the latest upgraded version of Wltoys k989 & Wltoys k969.
Wltoys 284131 has a 1:28 ratio, so it's small and pretty, very suitable for running indoors.
Although small, but Wltoys 284131 is equipped with 4WD drive, reaching a speed of more than 30km / h.
Wltoys has upgraded No.284131 the following parts:
- Stronger body.
- Built-in many beautiful and cool front and rear led lights.
- More compact transmitter and receiver design with LED power cord jack, unfortunately it still doesn't have Gyro (very important).
Not stopping at the above changes, I manually customized the RC Wltoys 284131, by changing the drift tires and metal wheels for smoother drift.
In this video, I upgraded to:
- Radiolink RC6GS V2 transmitter
- Compact Radiolink R4FGM receiver, integrated Gyro
- DumboRC ESC 10A is integrated with led controller with many functions: LV Buzzer, Blinker left and right, brake light, flashing (I only have flashing mode).
The passion doesn't stop, I will release new and more unique videos in the next few days.

I have attached magnets on RC car Xinlehong 9125. Please watch that video again. It's similar to attaching a magnet to a Wltoys 284131.

In your video description you have a link to Mini Brush ESC Break, but on video you don't use it. I read spec for DumboRC and it seems like it comes with break function, just need to set pins correctly. Would you please clarify whether I do need separate mini brake or DumboRC will be sufficient? Appreciate your help and great work
The ESC DumboRC also has brake function and integrated LED control function.
The ESC in the link in the description I didn't use for this video but I have used it for the Wltoys K989 in a few other videos. This ESC has a larger load current (20/30A) than the DumboRC (10A) ESC.

I have all those esc parts, radiolink gear & car. I guess the why do it comes to mind. So besides getting a gyro for drifting does it make it any better?
Radiolink transmitters and receivers make control of the control car almost no delay. The gyroscope helps the car go straight ahead and drift much better.
thats nice, i have a question.. where do we connect the motor cable to? sorry i am very very new to this hobby and totally a noob.
You connect the motor and battery to the DumboRC 10A Brushed ESC

But i have a question, if I bought a R6CGS transmitter with a R6FG gyro receiver, will it still work? can i still use the receiver that came with the transmitter?.. i see that the receiver come with the transmitter is R6FG

I want to do similar so my wltoys 284131 works with Flysky Noble nb4
This is very good, because Flysky Noble nb4 has a very low latency of 3ms.
Can anyone help me i have k969 upgraded with a rc4gs an shit runs great purchased this body for the led function figure I can wire her up through one of the auxiliary channels wonder how I should approach
Please watch this video carefully. My signal receiver is the same as yours, different transmitter, so only the switch position is different.
Where do you get the ESC + LED controller ?
In the description below the video has it all.
Do t those plastic drift wheels scratch the floor up?
My floor is ceramic tile so it doesn't scratch.
