,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Had a set of those fine 1963 - 65 tanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,ran them on my 81 stroker and always cracked the mounting ears , lower or upper,,,,,,tired of rewelding the tabs.....kept the original emblems and gave the tanks to a deserving friend.........love your work tatro................

Where do these bike owners come from. They don’t seem to know a thing about an internal combustion engine…much less, a pan head. You’re a patient man Tatro.
They come from the more money than brains department. They have no idea what's involved in owning a vintage Harley. They only know it's "cool".

The owner needs to trade it on a brand new bike! He was fuel injection efficiency from a 60 year old bike haha!

Gorgeous bike , well done! What model handlebars are on it ? They look very comfortable for long rides and I'd like to install similar ones on my road king special, the stock handlebars are terrible.

beautiful restoration , but the oil tank battery box is not stock .
yes and neither is the starter, battery or cables. that is why it starts so good. the motor might not be stock either. that is why it runs so good.

@@TatroMachine restoration means the item is brought back to show room condition , I can understand the starter and cables.
no that is not what that means. it means to bring it back to the condition it was. that could be any condition you want. how would you restore a chopper, make stock. no way.
he wanted something that was reliable and be able to ride anywhere on. that is what he got.

Me i now run s $50 minumum fee cuts down. On all the petty stuff even a quick carb adjustmen is $50 after that it's $75 an hour but i am quick so when i charge you it's right . And if they say such & such os $40 per hour . I say well if thats the quality work you want to to them .
