Our names are Jmayel, Sacha & Story. We traveled to the Philippines Siargao island and fell in love with island life, now we want to make that life more permanent.

Watching Story enjoying the ocean makes me realise that a 5 year old kid has much better skill in swimming than someone like me who doesn’t have the opportunity to overcome my phobia of water after a childhood accident being in the water. She’s really good in swimming and I never saw her not even once being scared to be in the water either it’s ocean or swimming pool. I’m enjoying your every adventure story. I hope you won’t grow up so fast so we can enjoy your childhood adventure more. Your such an amazing little girl. Godbless you Story as well as your lovely parents❤️😇🙏
I am currently at the airport for my trip after more than 2 years when I watched this vlog and listening to Sacha's story of how the experience made her emotional for having experience such amazing experience, it hit me too and got emotional. This is it.indeed. Being able to enjoy the world and learning while experiencing the world is indeed such a blessing. If what good thing this pandemic brought to me - that is having known you in the TH-cam world. It seems Ive seen how you live such an inspiring life since 2020. Bless you more Jay, Sacha and Story❤
I could never imagine Story growing up other than being a true islander with her beautiful skin and golden locks.

I was moved just watching this video and listening to your narration of the whole experience. It certainly is an awesome experience to come up close to a "wild" animal in their natural habitat. And this habitat of theirs is so gorgeous. I would not be surprised at all if Story grows up to be a big-time nature lover. She already is one. I will try and visit Balicasag island the next time I am back in the Philippines.
Poppy is so confident of you guys bringing him to some nice place, no s/s of anxiety, he's just enjoying that you guys brought him with you and the company. I always feel that every time I bring my dog too on our trips she looks so excited looking at where we are going and Story is having the time of her life, she will always remember these moments for the rest of her life and will make her smile.
It's good that you bring Poppy !she will eventually get use to travelling and riding boats maybe one day she'll jump off and join story while she swims!
Can't say I'm happy about this many humans travelling to this island & sea environment.

Seeing turtle swim freely in the ocean is one of the most beautiful and calming sight ever. 😍😍 Poppy is a well behaved dog even on boats ( just needs to be comfortable in the water 😉) perfect travel buddy 😍
Also, Story is very ready for whale shark (butanding) adventure in Donsol. 🙌🏼

I truly can relate what Sasha felt during those moments spent in Balicasag. Went there with the whole family snorkeling about 10 years back. It gave me chills and felt amaze on how beautiful underwater can be. The beautiful experience is somehow embedded in my memory.

I love the fact that Poppy gets to enjoy travelling and the activities you guys do. She's a good adventure doggo. ❤ And I was thinking how magical Story's life has been thus far. Turly wish my kids could also have the same quality of life. Being in Canada, we don't have places like this too. But one day soon, hopefully we can all come home and my kids can see where I came from. Last time I was home, I got to dive the amazing Apo Island and also got the privilege to swim with turtles in their natural habitat. I totally get it Sascha. I totally get it. Oh and maybe next time, Pops can have a doggo life vest so she can also swim??? For a little while anyways.

Same here Jay and Sacha. Our Bohol experience was mindblowing.We had the island tour around panglao. first we had the dolphin watching and at first i was thinking we wont see any and lo and behold we saw several of them. it was so surreal. i was like it was the best day ever. then we went to Balicasag and the trip was kinda long and bumpy but when we were there i was in awe when i saw the turtles and swam with them. seeing the dropoff/cliff underneath was something i just see on videos or tv shows and being there was so amazing. and just like you jay i told myself i want to learn how to free dive or scuba dive. so much to see underwater! and what is the best part of the day for us was we were with our kids and they swam to see the turtles and other fish that they said it was the best day of their lives. they were only 4yo and 8yo that time. after that Bohol has been their most favorite island. they want to go back there always! 💕

Some people live their lives exploring seas and beaches. Some people never seen a sea because their country is landlocked. Some people make their living in the sea. Life is an adventure wherever one is you only need follow destiny.
Jay, once you get a scuba diving license, diving in the Tubbataha Reef should be in your bucket list. That is the ultimate diving place not only in the Philippines but in the whole world.
I love this video! Thank you for sharing with us your incredible experience swimming with the turtles. It was so heartwarming to see not only Story having fun but also to hear you, Jay and Sacha (seeing you get emotional, too), say that it was one of your most unforgettable experiences. It was such a perfect day! Even Poppy behaved well and the food and shakes looked perfect. (I hope they tasted perfect, too.😋)

My first snorkeling was in 2018 in El Nido,Palawan,that was like in heaven,for 2 weeks here in Canada,I can’t get over my experience and every night ,I kept dreaming of snorkeling in Palawan.i hope,I will have the chance to have that kind of experience.

You can also swim with Whale Sharks🐋 in Lila, Bohol.

You should add APO REEF in your go-to list. It is the world's second largest contiguous coral reef system, located at Occidental Mindoro. You can also drop by Pandan Island for more sea turtle viewing.
Apo Reef is a protected marine sanctuary area and tourists are not encouraged to go there for it may destroy the underwater ecosystem.
@@eli.capinbxu it is now open for tourists again. The only reason they stopped operation was due to the pandemic. Been there numerous of times in the past, my mother is from Occidental Mindoro.

I'm glad you took poppy with you. It seems too much trouble but I just the idea of poppy part of the family and hopefully poppy will get the courage to swim with Story and enjoy the the fun of seeing sea creatures and able to float. Love that colorful dress and bright necklace , it compliments her braids and skin tone. She looks like princess of Bohol island. This is the best one so far on your trip, love the Hugh boat felt safer for your family and I thought it's funny to see poppy with you on that tiny boat that is just precious to see. This vlog is just very well made, the content, the length and most of all the scenery is excellent it has the filming of a person who had captured the moment in time, well done Jay!
