While I've already turned and walked away from the battlefield, convicted, recognized this error and corrected course a bit wiser. I naively walked away tired of being "beaten up," but in all reality it made me vulnerable, and suffered more damage in that ignorance wanting to save myself. Now being redeemed from this, in a peculiar way I'm now MORE resolved, gracious, compassionate, and empowered -- with a limp and needless scars, yet stronger in the Lord.

Years ago I was on a prayer battle, praying and fasting for about a period of three months. I was able to pray for 3 hours and when I was done my clothes smelt like smoke, as if there was a fire. I remember the Holy Spirit saying to me one night after prayers " change your prayer strategy and strengthen your legs". I am presently fighting a battle and a couple of days ago I was being told to in my dreams to " focus". And I asked " how do I do that, how do I focus"?. Your explanation of prayer strategy is not what I took it to mean. It really means to focus, paying attention to the fact that you are in a battle. Thank you for this explanation.
