Hi Tyler, hope you're doing well. I believe I got an email saying I won a guitar from a comment. I tried to reply through the Gmail. I don't know if that was the correct way to respond or if it is somehow through youtube. Sorry for my ignorance.

story of the day: I went to a guitar shop in my town, got my hands on a les paul, discovered that i suck at playing outside my room, went home and started looking for new gear:)
I think the $4 pedals are (mostly) a trap... you really have to know exactly what you want to dial it in or else have a whole day to get to know it. They're so deep (except maybe the double barrel). In a game like this, simple and easy to dial in great tones is the key. So because of that, I think you won, Tyler. You picked pedals easy to dial in great tones quickly on. I can say this because I picked out these 24 pedals for the game :)
oh, and by $11, you mean > $1000.... Less interesting. I thought you were going to show an epic budget pedal board! Not so much. I'd be interested in Tyler's view on a budget pedalboard to cover the basics.
This type of show will sell pedals. I have mostly boss, digittech, danelectro and mxr. I've seen the plumes in the display case. Was never brave enough to bet my hard earned money on it. I will be checking out and purchasing some of these pedals. After all how many times cam you have a metal zone on one board
As a lover of weird effects, Jamie wins for me (even if he did go overbudget). Really, the game for me would be choosing the POG and then figuring out the rest from there.
Tyler picked pretty much the pedals that I would have picked. He was even thinking about the Tumnus. For me: *Option 1* Tumnus Overdrive $2 Halo Delay $4 JHS Good Vibrations $3 EQD Special Cranker $1 EQD Plumes $1 *Option 2* Tumnus Overdrive $2 Halo Delay $4 Strymon Mobius $4 EQD Special Cranker $1
Most of the pedals I chose I haven't heard of before, and wouldn't use normally. But I covered the spectrum based on what I could use in a gig situation. My amps reverb is stellar and I only use a soul food overdrive as a more of an equal boost for solos, so I have no idea if my choices were good or not lol
The Special Cranker is on of my absolute favorite overdrives. I have them on 3 of my boards for low to medium gain stage. What a fun game! Wish I had someone to play with locally.
It' sucks hey man. Ridiculous pricing and no availability. I just put Dimarzio UtopiAs in my Prestige and they took like 4 months to come over 😭 was worth the wait though
I'm stoaked for the chance to win my $11 board! I picked an awesome set of pedals and I'll run it in my wet dry rig if I nab the prize! This rig will sound HUGE!!! $2 JHS Hard Drive Distortion $3 EHX Mel 9 $3 Keeley Halo Andy Timmons Dual Echo $3 JHS Good Vibrations
Andy is the best guitarist in the freaking world supppppppper underrated and that's a fact he is a shred God I'm a disabled veteran so I'm poor and caint afford one of his guitars but when I pass away maybe the good lord will provide me with his signature ibanez to play in the band with the angles he is more than a shred God he is spot on with any tune he creates
I had just as much watching as you had demoing and experimenting- I love doing this with the 75-80 Pedals I have it is insane and time consuming but at 66 years old I have time and the grandkids love playing too strange sounds emulates and enhances the mood- and it is fun as hell haha
Click bait titles will make me never watch your channel again. You are not creating content - You are creating ads. I would also like to use 11 US Dollars ( a specific currency) to build a pedal board. Don't go and change the currency to be something else. Use the word token or units to build a pedal board if you like to play games.. If you use $ you are doing deceitful marketing.
I had a v1 Rainbow Machine, it can get crazy, but there are settings so it sounds like a massive Chorus pedal. My choices: $4 Electro-Harmonix POG3, (it's the only octave pedal?!) $1- JHS 3 Series Compressor, (it's a good compressor and saving a buck off the Keeley helps me later) $1-EarthQuaker Devices Special Cranker, (gotta stack dirt, and there was no fuzz?!) $2- Wampler Tumnus, (sure it's a Klone, but I use it cranked, not as a boost!) $2- Walrus Audio Lillian, (phasers with multiple stage options are cool) $1- Electro-Harmonix Slap Back Echo (I had a buck left, needed "cover" as Tyler put it, 😂)
Because some of us are rooted in old school tech, and the feel that comes with it. Not to say that those aren't awesome, but there's just something amazing about stomps and a real amp.
Who won, me or Jamie?
I would have to say you win. The 3 EarthQuaker products compliment each other so well.
I like your rig better, but Jamie is the big winner because now I am looking into buying some Earthquake Devices effects.😊

"It's like deep purple with cats"
The most accurate terminology I've heard used to describe a sound.

Then your boss demoed the game and picked two $4, one $2, and one $1.
@@sagittated Mitch knows what he's doing :)
Tyler won the game, Jamie won free advertising for pedals that sound great !
guitar youtuber and has never spent time with eqd pedals? doesnt know what a ehx clone is? respect lost.

I thought the same thing for a second, then I realized I don't care about super super cheap pedals.
I had the same thought

Both are winners because guitarssssss
17:27 I found this next particular part was quite bitter 😂
I need a paddle!!!
Tyler wins on the virtue of the Blackguard Tele alone.
Very boring selection of pedals except for the POG.
Tyler picked pretty much the pedals that I would have picked. He was even thinking about the Tumnus. For me:
*Option 1*
Tumnus Overdrive $2
Halo Delay $4
JHS Good Vibrations $3
EQD Special Cranker $1
EQD Plumes $1
*Option 2*
Tumnus Overdrive $2
Halo Delay $4
Strymon Mobius $4
EQD Special Cranker $1
Though I love some of the sounds, this video reminds me why I keep effects to a minimum: so many knobs and cables! 😂
Jamie sold with his signal chain😭
"Deep Purple with cats!" Ha ha!
Bought the Ibanez Pentatone pre amp distortion pedal and it’s the best thing I ever did.

I have the Special Cranker and Plumes on my board. Doubt they’ll ever move unless they break.
The Special Cranker is on of my absolute favorite overdrives. I have them on 3 of my boards for low to medium gain stage. What a fun game! Wish I had someone to play with locally.
Tyler is a freaking monster on guitar as well
Same. Clickbait title. Disappointed with that, not the vid.
Tyler, you masterful bastard - that lick at 16:11 was awesome.
This is actually a fun giveaway! I had to use my brains, lol. 😂
That is clickbaiting at its finest...
I hope next time you will be more true, please
Maybe use points instead of fake prices ?
Or, maybe just be grateful for the chance to win a board with great pedals on it instead of amazon leftovers?
@@patriotpizzaman don't care. I'm not in US
Can’t believe some people actually expecting/wanting to see an $11 pedal board 😂

Damn, that bad ? Video games, now guitars ?

think jamie actually understands what’s so funny about “special cranker”?

I wish these pedals actually were $11. I'd have a much better board.
You and Jamie should record together. There were a couple times where you guys played some hella cool shit🎸
Battle of the impromptu v-necks. Who won?
Hi, I got an email saying i won. I want to say thank you.
I don't know how this works? What do I do now?

I once had a distortion pedal.

Well I’m livid it didn’t cost 11 dollars what a scam
I feel like I can just go over the $11 budget cap since that's the way I behave in real life anyways. $13? Yeah, I can hide that extra two bucks.

$11?
Bullshit clickbait.
This gets you a 'don't recommend this channel' award.
The giggle at the 2 scissors…
I collect EQD and my wife hates that
Why not just get a tonex or a quad cortex have all the effects you need instead of buying separate pedals?
