i got my computer yesterday and the audio isnt working. when i plug the headphones in, in works. the input it says its connected to my monitor but i dont hear any sounds. i ran a troubleshooter multiple times and it doesnt help. ive looke at solutions on the internet but none helped. its a brand new windows 11, any tips?

at 2:20, i don't have sound, video, and game controllers on the list :/ edit: i got it! someone else said to click the very top item on the list(your desktop name, his in the video is KAPIL-M3), then select Action and then scan for hardware changes! then the "sound, video, and game controllers" option shows up and you can proceed with this video to add the legacy stuff!!

I don't know if you figured it out or not, but search up laptop model and audio driver, you'll get the official website for your brand that will give you the options for the audio drivers.
