What did this guy do other than making leftists propaganda about how America is racist and putting people against each other for having different political opinions??
I like how he called out the reporter for making the assumption that society is always right. He clearly and spot on told her no it’s not that cut and dry.
"There is no line, since half of Society is looking at the line from different positions", or words to that effect, was brilliant! I have listened to Dave Chappelle and I don't hear anything offensive. For example, when Dave was dancing with someone whom he thought was a Woman and it turned out "she" was a Transvestite, he initially registered his disappointment in "her" not being a traditional woman. And then he said: "Well, there are only two songs left, so let's keep dancing!" BTW, I am a White Guy!
How did she assume society is always right? She asks him if he thinks Dave crossed the line but the larger question becomes, what is the actual line and who decides what it is. To which she implies society makes that decision, not that the decision they make is always going to be right one.
@@mkhuselimazungula6345 Chappelle shared his experience. You can't tell someone their experience is out of line bc that's not your call and it's not your experience. As a black man. It all boils down to how you take it. My parents didn’t teach me to see people as skin colors, so I just ignored the kids harassing me and moved on to interact with the ones that didn’t have a problem with how my family looked.
When she mentioned him being poor when he was a child, he almost teared up. I can resonate with him on that. Remembering the past when things were hard while living comfortably can be a bitter-sweet memory
Proud of your accomplishments as a young black man. Don't allow the media or anyone else to put pressure on you about your relationships. Many rush into relationships and end up in divorce. Take your time Trevor. It's your life.
Have you looked into what they're going to do? Basically rotate a bunch of comedians around until about September, then decide on a permanent host. They're not stating EXACTLY like the rotating hosts are "auditioning" for the job but they might as well be. And it's not a bad idea, because there's no other show like it, and not just anybody could do it full justice. Most viewers (including me) didn't think Trevor had "it" at first, especially with most people never having seen him before. There were rumors of the show ending right before his ratings started climbing. The producers probably don't want another close call like that again. They have some AWESOME people lined up. John Leguizamo, Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman, Al Franken, Wanda Sykes (and more, I can't remember right now).
@@BenjaminKennethMusic 😆You say that like Jon wants to do it and it's just the producers saying no. Yeah, he seems like one of the smartest celebrities out there. Just the way he’s able to debate Lesley is proof. Also, I really like those between the scene clips on his, umm…. former show.
For my fellow non-South African, the way she said worms meaning Mopane worms shows a little bit of incomprehension. My parents didn’t teach me to see people as skin colors, so I just ignored the kids harassing me and moved on to interact with the ones that didn’t have a problem with how my family looked.
Our Creator TMH God told us that we would be hated by all nations here on the earth that is what makes us set apart the curses will follow you.
He is so incredibly insightful and introspection!!! Society has the biased opinions, laws and anger
Good luck Trevor whatever you decide to do! Hope we have the honour and pleasure of having you on the air again in the near future. Love you!!!!
When she mentioned him being poor when he was a child, he almost teared up. I can resonate with him on that. Remembering the past when things were hard while living comfortably can be a bitter-sweet memory
I’m just here for Trevor. I love his sincerity 🇿🇦
Is South Africa still the same today?
@@woozyz2769 no
He’s such a brilliant & inspiring man.
Omg ...love him
Proud of your accomplishments as a young black man. Don't allow the media or anyone else to put pressure on you about your relationships. Many rush into relationships and end up in divorce. Take your time Trevor. It's your life.
Great advice.
I'm gonna miss Trevor Noah hosting TDS, but I'm also open to the next host. Noah's great. He's gonna do more, great things.
@@audreymuzingo933 Chelsea Handler
Just bring Jon back. F everyone else.
@@BenjaminKennethMusic 😆You say that like Jon wants to do it and it's just the producers saying no. Hosting a literal daily show about the depressing world of politics is grueling work, so I wouldn't blame anybody for doing nothing else afterwards. Looks like Jon wants to wear comfy T's and not shave. He earned that.
@@audreymuzingo933 that’s fair. As an independent, I preferred Jon over Trevor, but to each his own.
Trevor is such a superb human being. I love him so damn much.
would you mind explaining what qualifies him as superb?
What an inspirational person….. I just admire and like him as a human being.
So proud of this young man!! Kudos to him for always remaining true to himself and the culture. Well done
Everything about replying will always be ok.
I am from South Africa and have read his book. He is an inspiring man, and the Daily show was great when he was there.
Yeah, he seems like one of the smartest celebrities out there. Just the way he’s able to debate Lesley is proof. Also, I really like those between the scene clips on his, umm…. former show.
He wasn’t and isn’t smart
@@seventhcompactor1505 How would you know?
The wisdom and beauty of this man is beyond words
this guy is an angel!
For my fellow non-South African, the way she said worms meaning Mopane worms shows a little bit of incomprehension. Though Mopane worms are not a medium rare stake, they are actually quite nice and you don't eat them cause your poor or broke. Trevor meant eating too much of them, I don't know if she quite understood.
That is just something I never want to do. I mean I would gag every time I ate pap at grandma's. Even being poor, I always had Italian tastebuds.
When mother cooks pap, since I am staying with her currently, I do not eat it. I just cannot, because I prefer pasta. We are not a product of our poverty, just individuals finding our tastes in life.
Oh wow. You would Gag??? At pap???? I honestly hope you’re being sarcastic 😮😅
@@PoppyChio Like I said, Italian tastebuds.
She is a white old woman what do you expect and she is from the US of A as well.
Trevor Is a comedic joy and treasure. I love his comedy and views. Will miss him on the Daily Show.
I feel the same.
You school Lesley dude, teach/preach man!
I don't know if she is capable of really hearing all the nuanced or even the bold points, but excellent for everyone watching who can.
Love how he guides the conversation with logic, clarity, heart and well founded confidence.
This man is truly inspiring
I love that he’s open about the realities of race, racism, ADHD, American hate is real, family love, success and his past.
Love you Trevor! You're the best. From the Philippines.
He is a MAGNIFICENT human being. Thank you Trevor for your humanity.
I think America needed Trivor so bad to bridge the division in the society.
He's a treasure. An amazing human being. The USA is very lucky to have him.. so please treat him very well.
This is an intelligent, amazing man! Had no idea ALL he went thru growing up...sad, VERY difficult for many to understand...BUT, he survived & is a great, knowledgeable young man...A GREAT COMIC 2 (maybe as result of ALL he's been thru)...God Bless Him
I could listen to Trevor Noah speak all day Long
Love Trevor so sad that I never made it to a live show down in NYC. So talented and he helps keep us Americans in check....Keep spreading laughter, light, conscience and joy into our society.
I loved him from the very first show. He is amazing.
I just can't even imagine who could replace Trevor on the Daily Show? He was such a gifted person. Best wishes in future projects.
the same thing was probably said about JOHN STEWART

Thank you Trevor Noah for existing. You've helped me through a difficult time in life.
This is incredible !! I am in asia so I didn’t have Trevor under my radar - it’s just incredible - I have no words - am grateful that God brought an outsider to so boldly and clearly express the inside
Trevor Noah is beautiful outside as well as inside.
Love you, Trevor!!! You’re an honest perfect man.
Yes, he is correct that America has a lot of anger. A sad truth.
Trevor, what you have achieved is amazing, nothing but respect for you my brother, all the best to you.

Trevor I don't think I can live without watching you daily 💖💖💖
The Dave Chapelle answer was on point on the line LOL. Kidding aside it was the most perfect answer I've heard to a controversial question.
I'm SO GOING TO MISS TREVOR on the Daily Show....such a BRILLIANT TALENTED & CONNECTED being. I wish him continued SUCCESS & FULFILLMENT in ALL of his future endeavors. PEACE & BLESSINGS. 🌱🌻💖💖
I can’t believe how profoundly sad I am about his departure from the daily show. I cried, like I did when Johnny Carson left. His humanity, experience, and his perspective was such a wonderful departure from every one else pales by comparison. I grew to care about him and his family, and was so sad when his gran past. He ended up feeling like a friend or part of the family. I’m happy for him because he has such a beautiful future ahead, but I will miss him terribly. I didn’t expect to become so fond of him.
My first glimpse of Trevor had my curiosity stimulated. Every time I have watched a video, he increases my admiration and respect. He's all that we can aspire towards, willing to learn, willing to think, willing to understand. I hold him in high esteem
I cannot imagine how anybody could possibly hate Trevor.
He's a jewel of a person.
HUGS2U ❤️
Literally just garden variety haters, the jealous kind.
I love his attitude in life.
If I hear someone's "real" laugh, even without context, their laugh by itself makes me laugh my real laugh. I love those moments.
There are still genuinely great people out here and Trevor Noah is one of them.
One other thing. The man is very intelligent... I mean look who he chose to grant an interview with.
Not sure how you mean that. I thought this interview was awkward as all get-out.
This young man is VERY well spoken and very intelligent. Age doesn’t matter when it comes to what you can LEARN from TREVOR❤
I love Trevor Noah!!! He's hysterically funny, extremely intelligent and introspective, as well
as, mannerly and kind. I wish him the best of luck and can't wait until we see what he will do next. Thank you Trevor!!! We all love you 😍
Hello dear, how are you doing? Nice meeting you here
Trevor is a sweetheart! Much love and respect!
I saw him the first time on CC in Germany when the primaries in 2015 started and I fell in love with that guy so fast. He was so spot on from the beginning. America has another great comedian...Grats

He also really loved his Gogo may she RIP
People say he is a closet cross dresser
I care for mother. I fell out of loving her.
Trevor is incredibly witty! He will be missed, certainly a unique individual.
Oh my God he is so well spoken, 10:26 his response to the question about Dave Chappelles "the closer" is brilliant. God has blessed this man. He is saving a generation.
Whether you think Dave Chappell is right or wrong is irrelevant. Nobody should be offended by jokes. It’s an art and art and speech should be free, whether you like it or not. Plus, it’s COMEDY.
Art is subjective and is open to criticism and if you can't take the criticism don't do the art
@@ringsofblayze4026 I think you’re confusing criticism and cancellation. People wanted him cancelled. Pretty sure he’s got no issue with criticism.
@@ryanmalone2681 yes people wanted that but did cancellation happen? The only black person to be cancelled besides Kanye is chrisette michelle. Cancellation does not happen like y'all think it does. Accountability! That's what most of y'all are afraid of.
@@ringsofblayze4026 You’re missing the point. People trying to cancel someone for a joke is ridiculous, whether they succeeded or not. It’s a special kind of stupidity.
People always take offence, but can you laugh at the offence? As for cancel culture we have #CalvinHarris to thank for trying to make that a thing. If something is so wrong, why not just write to the broadcasting commission? There are rules, and people think they can pretend those rules do not exist simply, because of social media trends.
What people clearly need to do is go back to school.
He is a beautiful human being. Thank you.
I just love him and how he reaches people.

So beautiful to listen to him. He is funny and so serious at the same time. Being called Mustard! I pretend to understand how he felt. Society is incomprehensible. I love the words of the TV chairman, when offering Noah the job. He knew he was looking for a home but at the same time he needed to leave. Searching for answers, opportunities to talk about truth, maybe….
