☹God, I feel your pain so badly. The issue with me is that I'll go as far as skipping work due to social anxiety. So, "hanging out" for me is out of question. I'm thankful I'm a college student as that helps with my living expenses, but that may be my curse as well. I don't think I remember the last time I ate with a friend outside. I love this era of tech, but hate it at the same time. If you'd ever like to talk, I'm down for it.🙂
@@charliedays I'm an extrovert with anxiety. I understand but I think a lot of people have forgotten how to socialize and would rather be on their phone than talk to a real person. People would rather door dash and say "leave my pizza at the door" than open the door and talk to the delivery guy. Some of it is anxiety. Sometimes its introversion but I do think its anxiety and loss of social skills. I remember my friend said "the less humans I talk to the better." She ordered her coffee inside starbucks on her phone while the rest of the group ordered at the register.
Hanging out for 20 minutes after a 3 hour travel is crazy. I usually make sure I have no plans for the following day so that I can spend as much time as I can with friends. I feel most are just so comfortable in a particular routine and are afraid to break it. I will say having a time limit is natural in a sense. I mean at some point we both have to go home but you best believe, I am spending a good amount of hours before that time.
We met in Queens so i only traveled about 40 mins. I was talking about how if I went to Long Island where he lives I would basically be taking two trains ( 3 hour commute) We usually meet somewhere in the middle haha.
Not afraid to admit that I feel lonely sometimes...very prevalent especially as a man in his 30s.
