Because it is true. Trump is not prepared to debate against Harris. Oddly, Harris is a weak debater, but Trump knows that she is tougher than Biden. He also knows that she will lean on all his court cases both criminal and civil. Will bring up the civil one where he lost to the GRAPE accusations, he will bring up the GRAPE accusations from that then underaged girl who was trafficked by his FRIEND Epstein-- and then wrap it in abortion, reproductive rights, anti-woman sentiment.
She then would lean on his 32 felony counts.
So Trump has a lot to fear, especially with the prosecutor vs criminal angle they are using.
The only question is will she be able to lay down a direct hard case against him without any moments of weakness?

What does that have to do with Trump debating her? She has the super majority of delegates RIGHT now meaning she will win the nomination at the DNC convention. Trump is just running because she won't be as easy as Biden, she will lean into his felony convictions, his relationship with Epstein, the SR case he loss in civil court, the girls who were trafficked by Epstein from Mar-a-Lago (Trump's property), the unconstitutional aspects of Project 2025 and JD Vance's relationship to the Heritage Foundation and on and on and on.... But there was also a big number of people who wanted to support Biden, for the good economical numbers he 8and his team) has achieved.
