Trump was toned downed yesterday. I feel he needed to be both unifying, reaching out but then still combative. He is changed for sure but he is still a Trump. Him being himself got him here and for me, it was both a unifying and in your face red meat which had to be done for the base and really, the guy got shot and nearly died, he can say what he wants for how long and throw it out there that the other side did a lot of contribution on why this divide is in place.
