Tech school is at the base where you are assigned? When do you find out which base? My son is shipping out next week and I'm curious.
Tech schools are located at specific bases and the location depends on the specific career.

Jennifer, for 1A331 - AIRBORNE MISSION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST he will have 2 tech school locations. This does not incude his additional aircrew training.
Enlisted Aircrew Undergraduate Course, Lackland AFB, TX, 9 class-days
Airborne Mission Systems Specialty Course, Lackland, TX, 38 class-days
Class days do not include weekends or holidays.

@@jacobbrower9959 I'm shipping for this October 6th, I honestly have no idea what exactly this job entails. I'm just excited I got a job in the airforce like this and I'm only 18. Do you have any tips for a future fellow airmen, that's going into this career field?
I have a class a misdemeanor when I was a juvenile and it got sealed can I still get this job ?
All law violations in an applicant’s life (this includes ANY traffic tickets/violations, anything dismissed, dropped, expunged or even sealed as a juvenile) are go through an F.BI. background check for qualifications to join the Air Force. Does every Airborne Mission Systems specialist have to go through SERE training for this job?
Ricardo, yes all aircrew must attend combat survival that includes SERE training.
