As a farmer and contractor, I use mental math in everything I do. So much that I sometimes worry if I had become overly confident. I imagine this worry plagues every Loadmaster, also.

I leave in less than two weeks with Loadmaster as my job. Just gotta pass the flight physical at BMT and I'm good to go.

Yes of course love all goes in there too there's nothing wrong with that of course I'm only saying is all. I've been doing whatever I can to better our country in whatever capacity I can on my side. Including literal work you know, manual labor. In at all also of course I do it with the projection of a way forward, that goes with one having their s*** together in its various ways, you know the drill. another I didn't mention I didn't mean not to is my old friend Joe Burge used to serve in the US Army in the 1950s he was from Corning, California sure miss that guy

@@SagetheRomantic hmm that’s weird cause my friends just picked loadmaster as her job. I would ask your recruiter about this job specifically because recruiters can get extra pay if they sign someone up with a specific job. So I would ask just to make sure.

I've watched a lot of the Air Force Loadmaster videos. Can anybody tell me the name of the binder they use to tighten chains? It's round and about 6 inches in diameter and Airman is usually down on their knees turning the binder one way or the other.

Uhmm can a Filipino csn join us airforce, and be a permanent pilot of us airforce fighter jets?
Caed Jerson Agustin if you are not a born citizen in the US, you canning become an officer, and therefore you can not pilot. You can still join the Air Force as an airman, after having your green card (permanent residence) for a year, but you won’t pilot.

Enlisted Aircrew Undergraduate Course, Lackland AFB, TX, 12 days
Basic Loadmaster Course, Lackland AFB, TX, 24 Days
Basic Loadmaster Course (see note 1), Altus AFB, OK, 5 weeks
Basic Loadmaster Course (see note 1), Little Rock AFB, AR, 5 weeks
Note 1: Will attend one course, not both
This does not include combat, water survival, and dunker training.

David, we do not have specific information on specific aircraft; just general information. While attending Enlisted Aircrew Undergraduate Course your aircraft will be selected.

Check out special mission aviator. Its as close to being a pilot as you can be other than being a pilot. Your a door gunner on a UH-60 pavehawk. You are in charge of maintenance and inspections of the aircraft before during and after flight and you work with Pararescue operators to conduct CSAR(combat search and rescue). And you get to ride around in a helicopter and shoot 50 cals and mini guns at anything below you

jwitherly Hello, I’m currently trying to crosstrain into being a load. I’m getting a ton of mixed msgs from different people. Some say it’s amazing others are telling don’t do it and I’m basically going to be a glorified maintainer with that kind of lifestyle. I’m currently personnel and want a job that’s more exciting and where I get the chance to travel more. Is it pretty physically demanding? Or is most of that done by machinery? How is the lifestyle overall? What are your thoughts on being called a maintainer?
@@dreamsofkaia7275 I gotta be honest, DoK...who the hell are you listening to?? To be clear, I have never heard the reference to maintenance as we are not even allowed to maintain the jet shy of the occasional fluid service. This is crazy talk. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Call them loadmasters, but they never load a plane. Aerial Port loads planes.
Who locks pallets in and does restraint and marshals huge trucks and tanks onto planes? Loadmasters
It’s not about who loads it.. it’s about who balances the weight of the plane to prevent everyone onboard from dying in-flight…
