    I had it myself and can see it was one of the best coffees I’ve had. It was energizing, but beyond that I noticed a level of mental clarity and it lasted the whole day way longer than a normal cup of coffee would have

    I drink this and love it! Sometimes I add a dash of turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, and paprika (you don't taste it)...and/ or even a tiny pinch of cayenne. Coconut oil powder makes it creamy.

      @@FitnessFinance4u Thanks for posting this about the coffee for had been in search of an alternative. While looking at 5 different types I settled to try this based upon your review. I live in GA and was in one of the Walmart centers and they actually had it. I found it on clearance price for the Think version in K Cups, was $2.75 for a 12 count. I bought all 19 boxes lol. I had to go to work today and there is another Walmart near my work and they actually had the 12oz bags of Perform for $3.75. I bought all 9 that they had. I did buy one bag of the Think but was $7.20 for the 12oz bag. I am going to check out other ones tomorrow and see what their pricing is but looks like Walmart might be wanting out of carrying. Just passing along what I literally found out last night and today after watching your videos and wanting to go this route. Thanks again for your videos. David

    It tastes great, but it is very expensive. You can stretch it by roasting dried chickpeas in a non-stick pan on low heat until they are very dark or charred. When they are cooled, grind them in a coffee grinder and mix this ground chickpea powder with mushroom coffee or whatever coffee substitute you like. Roasted ground chickpeas are a great coffee substitute.

    Hey Kurt,
    Believe it or not I was actually looking for a healthy coffee to add to my slowly evolving new healthy lifestyle, so I will check them out. I do one mug a day in the morning, so a 12oz bag will probably last me a month or six weeks. I know a few coffee snobs like yourself with deep pockets who won't be bothered by the price so I'm going to forward the video to them.
    I recommend you try to keep the videos under five minutes. Any longer than that and people's eyes start to hurt and, for me, my ADHD starts to kick in! Lol!
    Thanks for the timely review! I watched while drinking my Sam's club bulk coffee! Lol!

    Thanks for the review. It is a bit pricey for me. Is there a powder that I can stir in my coffee that is more cost-effective maybe?

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I checked out the website, and they do have "instant mushroom coffee" packages. But I'd have to do a cost analysis to see if they are less expensive than just buying the grounded coffee. My gut says it is probably more pricey since it's individual packages 😬.

      Marie, you are a rock star! You must have amazing discipline! Since I'm not a certified nutritionist or "fasting" specialist, I'm not sure if this would break your fast? I have watched a lot of Dr. Berg videos on fasting and he claims as long as you drink coffee without any "creams or additives" it won't break your fast. I might suggest you get in touch with Four Sigmatic to see what they have to say?

    I only drink coffee because I need something to come out of the zombie because it takes LOTS of medicine to make me fall asleep and stay asleep. But I only drink caffeine in the morning and no later than lunch. If i like it I'll use it instead of my afternoon decaf and possibly some at lunch. Walmart plus. I think sometimes I'm going to cancel my plus but then i look at everything I'm getting and I honestly prefer it to Amazon. Cheaper too. Their system isn't nearly as good but you can get used to it.

    • @FitnessFinance4u
      @FitnessFinance4u  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Brenna, I use 1/8th cup or 30ml per cup per 8 oz. coffee. So I would assume double that for 16oz?
