I’m now 64 and wanted to go silver after having deep bright purple hair, which I loved but not the upkeep. Loved your hair,and haircut so much, I went to my hairdresser, and got about 8ins cut off, she styled it similar to yours. Not sure what I think of it on me. Lol. My hubby liked my longer hair, but I love change😊 I told him it will grow back😂

I use Laura Geller Baked & Balance foundation & love it. I always thought that mature skin needed a liquid or cream foundation but that makes my 59 year old skin look awful. The powder with a setting spray is much better. I also use her spackle primer, it's perfect too and I just purchased 2 eye shadow palettes I'm anxious to use. I'd love to see a full Laura Geller face. I wasn't sure about the hair but it's growing on me 😊

If you want to blend out face makeup "oopsies" around your hairline without creating a harsh line of demarcation, try dipping a clean, bristle type mascara wand in micellar water and combing it thru the hairs around your face. I do just the reverse; I brush liquid brow "paint" into my hairline to cover the white hairs coming in. Love this video, Sharalee!

Your pre-foundation skin color right now is so beautiful, and IMHO goes better with your wonderful new hair color. You skin on its own is looking so fabulous that you should try not using foundation at all. Try it on a day you're not leaving the house. I think you'll be surprised at the results.

I think the new color is very flattering. I have a cut very similar to yours. I am 66 , was a natural brunette, and decided a few years ago to quit coloring it because I was so tired of chasing the gray. It took me a little bit to get used to it, but I love it and get so many compliments. Wish I had done it a lot sooner!
I have short gray/white hair and I use a q-tip with a little rubbing alcohol and it works to get the make-up around my hairline. Your make-up is gorgeous. My eyebrows I use a granite color, works great.
I use a small sponge to blend out the foundation in the hairline. Works great. I think the pastels would look nice with your hair color. When you’re feeling it, please do a blue look. It seems hard to do right esp. as I age. I find I stick to a neural browns. This was a fun one!

For the hair around face, especially sideburns, any kind of wax works. I use plain old Vaseline. Wipes right off and picks up all the pigment from makeup.
I’ve been platinum for nearly 5 years now…it blends well with my nearly white hair at age 59. It’s bright and attracts attention but I love my platinum pixie and get so many compliments on it. I hope you like yours too!
You're hair looks great! I was trying to grow out a pixie too but like you it's driving me nuts! I'm getting it cut just like yours and tempted to bleach again. I grew out my natural color and unfortunately not enough grey for the wow factor. I was tired of chasing dark roots but platinum blonde is striking and fresh for the summer.

As I’m watching you as I do watching all your videos I’m in awe of the talent you have. Yes the hair color is taking a little time to get used to but I love it. I think I like watching your uncut videos the most. I might get brave and get a haircut I have almost shoulder length hair (and like my makeup I don’t play around with my hair). I’m 71 and don’t have much white or gray it just as red as it used to be. The end of this month hubby and I will be flying (we live in Southern California) to Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the week long air show, it gets really hot and humid. I went platinum 6 weeks ago and there were mixed reviews from family and friends. I’m 77 so I was hoping to have the white that’s coming in I couldn’t get used to it. When I got out of the shower i looked like an albino 👀. That said, people did say they thought it was a “glamorous look” as compared to my normal more definition blonde and platinum and darker sideburns ( I use just for men to color my sides 😂). You are so beautiful there’s nothing that wouldn’t look amazing on you. I do think you did a great job getting your makeup right for the hair color. Eyebrows are very important with the new color and you did that perfectly. I have to use Huggies wet wipes around my hair line all the time. I don’t know any secrets. Again you are an absolutely beautiful woman whose love just comes through with everything you do. If this was the first video I ever saw of you I’d tell my friends you were stunning!!!
I absolutely love how you mix & play with blending colors. It always looks so amazing on you! That green eyeliner is perfect. Like you said, just a hint under your eye. And blending those 2 blushes was genius & not something I would have ever thought of! I wish my makeup looked half as good as yours. I can't seem to get the eye concealer stuff to work for me

I didn't realize the Revlon blush was a new product when I bought it. I wear the Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum blush in 140 Brilliant Berry. I have the Laura Geller palette. So pretty. Very pretty look.❤

Hi again, just a heads up. I only use Laura Geller makeup. The spackle primer is amazing. You can even wear it alone over your serums and moisturizer. She just came out with a liquid foundation that has a 50 I think, could be 30 sunscreen in it. I can't wait to get mine. She also has a line called Bliss. It has skin care products.
Looks really good but have to confess I like the dark-blonde combo on your hair better. I get needing a change and it does look good because it would be hard not to on you. ❤️
I have silver hair- I get foundation and blush and bronzer in my hair all the time. I never use to have this problem when my hair was brunette (pre-gray!). Most days, I do exactly what you did with a magic eraser cloth. The only other thing is to put a makeup headband on covering all the way up to where the hair line meets skin. But this messes your hair up, so I have just resorted to wiping! Oh, and your hair color is great! ❤
I watched the salon video and will admit I was in shock at the end but my reaction is not as intense with this video. You’re beautiful inside and out so the color of your hair doesn’t change you. You’re looking absolutely beautiful today as always 😊
I love the Panorama mascara. I have short, sparse lashes and it makes them look longer and thicker. It also does not smudge or flake on my super oily skin. And 90% of mascaras do smudge &/or flake. I've been so impressed.
Hi Sharalee, I like your hair. When you put on the black liner I didn’t like the harsh contrast between it and your hair but when you went over it to soften it I thought it looked better. To be honest I’m not a fan of liquid black eyeliner with any hair color other than black hair, its so hard looking and sometimes that can close the eyes. I’d love to see you do some eye looks with the greens in the Wildwood palette. 😊

You will love purple shampoo to keep the bleach toned. Also, recommend Olaplex to condition.

I love you new hair color ! Your makeup looks great too . I think a teal mermaid look would be fun and pretty like teal pink purple all together with some shimmer white with a shift of pink or purple . I know it sounds like a lot but if anyone can pull it off you can . 😊

So beautiful Sharalee! You have a nack for mixing eye shadow colors that give a unique look. I would really like to see you do a very dark smokey eye using charcoal with black eyeliner and mascara. I went platinum 6 weeks ago and there were mixed reviews from family and friends. I’m 77 so I was hoping to have the white that’s coming in I couldn’t get used to it. When I got out of the shower i looked like an albino 👀. That said, people did say they thought it was a “glamorous look” as compared to my normal more definition blonde and platinum and darker sideburns ( I use just for men to color my sides 😂).
You are so beautiful there’s nothing that wouldn’t look amazing on you. I do think you did a great job getting your makeup right for the hair color. Eyebrows are very important with the new color and you did that perfectly.
I have to use Huggies wet wipes around my hair line all the time. I don’t know any secrets. Again you are an absolutely beautiful woman whose love just comes through with everything you do. If this was the first video I ever saw of you I’d tell my friends you were stunning!!!
I absolutely love how you mix & play with blending colors. It always looks so amazing on you! That green eyeliner is perfect. Like you said, just a hint under your eye. And blending those 2 blushes was genius & not something I would have ever thought of! I wish my makeup looked half as good as yours. I can't seem to get the eye concealer stuff to work for me

I didn't realize the Revlon blush was a new product when I bought it. I wear the Revlon Illuminance Gel Serum blush in 140 Brilliant Berry. I have the Laura Geller palette. So pretty. Very pretty look.❤

Hi again, just a heads up. I only use Laura Geller makeup. The spackle primer is amazing. You can even wear it alone over your serums and moisturizer. She just came out with a liquid foundation that has a 50 I think, could be 30 sunscreen in it. I can't wait to get mine. She also has a line called Bliss. It has skin care products.
Looks really good but have to confess I like the dark-blonde combo on your hair better. I get needing a change and it does look good because it would be hard not to on you. ❤️
I have silver hair- I get foundation and blush and bronzer in my hair all the time. I never use to have this problem when my hair was brunette (pre-gray!). Most days, I do exactly what you did with a magic eraser cloth. The only other thing is to put a makeup headband on covering all the way up to where the hair line meets skin. But this messes your hair up, so I have just resorted to wiping! Oh, and your hair color is great! ❤
I watched the salon video and will admit I was in shock at the end but my reaction is not as intense with this video. You’re beautiful inside and out so the color of your hair doesn’t change you. You’re looking absolutely beautiful today as always 😊
I love the Panorama mascara. I have short, sparse lashes and it makes them look longer and thicker. It also does not smudge or flake on my super oily skin. And 90% of mascaras do smudge &/or flake. I've been so impressed.

Hi Sharalee, I like your hair. When you put on the black liner I didn’t like the harsh contrast between it and your hair but when you went over it to soften it I thought it looked better. To be honest I’m not a fan of liquid black eyeliner with any hair color other than black hair, its so hard looking and sometimes that can close the eyes. I’d love to see you do some eye looks with the greens in the Wildwood palette. 😊

I am new here and I want to tell you I love your hair. I have seen the way your hair color was before this all blond color and I think you being all blond is better and you should keep it that way.
